A new cleanup update has been posted covering the recent Vault rework, rank changes, policy cleanup, and theme polish.
The goal is to make LC cleaner, easier to understand, and safer for the site going forward.

Depends, unity is way more versatile for some stuff while renpy can be powerful but requieres way more tinkering and skill. Also it doesn't quite support bulky projects like what happened to Summertime. But then you see Karmasutra or The Null Hypotesis and you notice it can be a beast in the right hands.
Also Godot seems to be carving a way, it's easy to do multi platform compatibility with fewer adjustments and since is community driven, it's ever growing
Ren'py just has the functions you need for a VN baked in so it's a safe bet, but unity and godot work fine if the programming is good and are much more versatile. That versatility usually just leads to sandboxes that are shit or minigames that are shit though.
