Pregnancy, like it or not?

I enjoy all aspects, but must actually lead somewhere and not just be a small side event.
 
I do not like it and when given the option I turn it off.
 
If anyone knows of good preg games please let me know
 
In the topic of pregnancy. What is the stuff that you like about it and the stuff that you don't?

In terms of games, how would you go about implementing it? Would you like to only have it as a concept? Characters getting pregnant and have a skip until they give birth. Or would you want it to be visually represented and influencing the story/gameplay?

Also... what are your tastes in the looks of pregnant women? You like a petite with a big belly or prefer curvy milf with big breasts and bigger belly.
Gameplay wise, pregnancy should be considered at the start of whatever game the dev is making. It should serve as a good mid-point for the game, something like a LI announcing that they're pregnant. Then, as the story continues, the character should also visually change to represent how far along they are. Sex scenes with the LI being pregnant should also be made. Time skips are okay, just as long as it doesn't totally skip over them actually being pregnant (ex: a LI saying they're pregnant and then the game fast-forwards to them carrying a baby.) I really dislike it when devs do that.

As far as tastes, it doesn't matter. As long as the player can visually see that the character is pregnant, it's all fine in my book.
 
Pregnancy has to make sense.
Pregnancy also has to be well tied into the game. Problem is that lot of the time, pregnancy is treated as form of the "endgame."
Alternatively it is aspect of the game where breeding is a focus. But when breeding is a focus, it kinda to me loses the connection.

In my opinion, one of the best ways would be to start with pregnancy and pregnant woman as wife/girlfriend. Have the fun. Then the woman gives birth and years later, you get to impregnate the daughter, renewing the cycle.
Other form of storytelling would be having pregnancy somewhat at the late midgame. Where characters do get pregnant but there's lot of room for additional scenes.

Big problem occurs that pregnancy is still a fetish content. Not as hardcore as some other fetishes but it isn't for everyone. Thus developer who opts into it either has to make a whole path where character doesn't get pregnant, make entire parts of the story skippable or commit to it.
 
let me know the character before knocking them up, I want to know if they can handle being a single mother after im done with the game
 
And don't have them get knocked up on the first fuck.
 
i don't care if its in a game or not, though i feel most of the times its in a game is just to fill a kink, and not to really add meaningful story

pregnacy is a yes for me especially when you get to have sex scenes with when they are prego, i dont remember the name of it but one of the fallout parody games does it great along side summertime saga
 
I like sandbox style games and pregnancy are a lot of work to implement in that style, so it isn't integrated as well as other content. I don't mind it missing, but I wouldn't mind it being added either.

i really like when it influence the gameplay and also a heavy impact in the plot, as for the body tipe a prefer a chenge on the woman body ad the breasts become bigger and lactate.

I think most of the time the pregnancy aspects of AVN's are fulfilled in the easiest way possible, and also mentioned here before, where it's left as part of the 'endgame' scenarios. I understand why many dev's leave it at this, due to the fact that many "baby" assets haven't been created or implemented into DAZ or HS2, Blender, etc. due to not wanting to get the ominous crash bang boom of their country's law enforcement body. However I think it can still be tactfully done, it would need a bit more dedication on the devs part. For instance, sequels. Where through part of the first game you can experience the pregnancy up through the third trimester, but when its time for the birth, it would alas be time for a time skip...

Just my humble opinion of course.
 
I was thinking of a game that includes pregnancy more often. Letting you breed girls and then add the offspring as future party members. And by having girls pregnant, they become less effective in other things such as combat or other works.

I'm gonna make my game with something similar.
I'm planning to do some fantasy stuff with different races and pregnancy times. Maybe also just add certain traits or mutations to make them more fast, fun or more functional to the game.

I really liked the idea of skipping a week and maybe get a small rundown of the events that happened in that week

I'm not against it, but I really prefer a choice early in a VN rather than compulsory - preggo sex doesn't disgust me by any means, but it's also not a fetish I have.

I prefer it as kind of a "finale" type of thing. I just finished up Bare Witness and was looking forward to lots of births in the "wrap up", and that happened in some, but not all.

I like it, I sadly haven't play many games with it so if anyone has any recommendations! Back to the question though, I actually don't like it when its just a concept cause then I feel like what's the point. I think the idea of it actually affecting gameplay both the art and the story is cool. Taste wise, I like both.
 
if its part of the story, otherwise, it just being there does not add any value for me
