Pregnancy can be hot but overall people don't know what to do with the baby, I see a lot of games where you impregnate girls, they have babies and... just it.

Definitely seen a few games that do this. I just lean on preferring it just be a concept and not visually represented, at least not for long. And if they do any childbirth that ideally is offscreen and never actually shown.

Not really, no. Whenever I play a game with such mechanics the first thing I look for are contraceptives

LOVE the getting pregnant part of it, HATE the whole result of it. it's way more about the concept of fucking so deep and hard and primally that you're doing everything you can to get the person pregnant, regardless of if it's possible. but the idea of birth and babies and having that be a part of a story is...the story outside of the scenes has gotta be damn good so that the baby doesn't show up just for there to be consequences or just as a cock block or whatever. i would much rather have there be impregnation with no follow through (abortion, miscarriage, or game ends before birth) than there being follow through but it being done badly (which i don't think i've seen any game do it well, at least with the impregnation being a critical part of the story and followed to the birth and beyond)/

It's fine when done right. There is a harem book author I read sometimes who does it wrong, and it's super cringe. When playing an adult game or reading an adult book, I don't want to feel like I'm seeing the author's kink play out. People who put preg into their games often can't help but overdo it, and it just starts to feel weird, imo.
