A few concepts come to mind, and I'll admit I think a few have tried.

A ghost game where you try to get revenge, yes I know of the few games that followed this concept, yet I think it never really did go anywhere.

Boys life, much like Girls Life but just gender swapped, think it'd be really cool for a simulation sytle game with a lot of plots to go and find and explore.

Psychological Horror just isn't done much, and when it is the games tend to get ditched.


Liliths Thrones, for lack of a better term, with it's strange setting and game-play, just the idea of that but having it not get abandoned randomly.

Maybe a Cops theme with corruption and all, with prison stuff to do and so on.

SCP style porn game, it's been done, but it just nevers goes far enough or gets ditched.

A game where you exist with reality phone alterations. Your in the world for this one not the one with the phone.

Anything with WoD style Gothpunk deal, don't think I've really seen it done yet.

Anybody remember the game Little Green Hill?

Actually a good game, but I'm still annoyed at how it squandered it's premise. It follows a guy who gets a job as director of an all-girls orphanage. A just-ridiculous enough premise to be great for a porn game. I wanted to feel like a fox in the hen house, corrupting my way through the innocent girls. I wanted lots of scenarios that had me watching and/or interacting with naked girls that didn't know to feel weird about me seeing them naked. But instead most of the girls come pre-corrupted and eager to strip naked or jump into bed.

The game spends a lot of time on the family story line, which is great, but it could have happened in any game and it takes time away from the uniqueness of the orphanage premise. There's also a lot of random story lines that happen outside the orphanage. Even if they were good, I just wanted the dev to get back to the orphanage and develop the girls there instead of introducing new girls.

I wrote another thread years ago that was about a guy who became one of society's "Elites". Men in position's of power who have the legal right to build their own harems. They can approach any woman on the street and fuck them. They are the only one's who can legally have sex with, ahem, younger women. Since you are inducted as an Elite as an adult, you go about coming to terms with your new authority over the women in your town as well as your family. I wrote about a bunch of mundane scenarios that would be spiced up with nudity: standing in line at the bank, family reunions, your daughter having a sleepover, stopping a woman on the street and asking her daughter for a BJ.

I felt the same way about Little Green Hill. The MC's family storyline could've been done a lot better, and I wish they'd spent more time developing the orphanage before everyone started branching off. The characters were introduced with a lot of potential, but things went off the rails way too early. There was no proper build-up, no momentum, no tension... nothing. Still, I really enjoyed the game.

I think the dev could learn a thing or two from The Headmaster when it comes to pacing and character development.

-The game The Babysitter was so disappointing because it had nothing to do with babysitting. Fine game, but I still want a game that properly lets you do what you wanted to do when you were a kid and a hot teenage girl babysat you. Peeping on her when she changes (Accidentally spilling on her so she has to go to the bathroom and pull her shift off). Groping her when she falls asleep on the couch. Playing the role of innocent little boy so she doesn't think much of it when you accidentally walk in on her naked. You get more and more bold with her. She acts like she's going along with it just to make her life easier, but she starts to enjoy it. You'll take a bath, but she has to take off her shirt for the rest of the night. You'll take the medicine your parents left for you if she gives you her pants for the rest of the night. She's making you dinner topless one night, and you sneak up behind her and unhook her bra. She feigns anger and chases you, holding her bra against herself. You both laugh and run around the house playfully. You wait until she drops her guard and yank the bra away from her and she's left cupping her breasts, very embarrassed and begging for her bra back. You return it to her on the condition she wears only her bra and panties the next time she comes to work. Invisibility/Time Stop
-I don't recall a single game that lets you play out this classic fantasy. It would be tough to make to be sure. But why not a game that lets you turn invisible and watch your sister shower. Or turn invisible and walk into your neighbor's house and watch the girl next door change. That might get boring after a while (always watching, never participating). So it could be combined with a time stop mechanic that your character unlocks later in the game. You turn invisible and sneak into your neighbors house and watch the mom shower. When she gets dressed and sits on the edge of her bed, you stop time and pull her shirt off and bra up. You then fuck her tits. Once you're done, you put her clothes back on, leave, and restart time. Maybe you have a hot boss. You stop time in the middle of a staff meeting, get up, and pull her skirt down and fuck her in front of all your coworkers. Then you pull her skirt and panties back up and sit back down. You restart time and watch you boss squirm as she feels you drip down her leg. You boss is horrible to you, so you get your revenge by stopping time as she walks out of her office. I had to reply as soon as I saw the comment about "The Babysitter" having nothing to do with babysitting. I even commented on this in my Fuck95 review of it many years ago. I think I asked if maybe babysitter meant something different in Europe than it does in the US because here it means someone (usually a teenager) who watches children that cant be left at home alone. So the title of that game annoyed me. As did the fact that he made another game with the same name that was... you guessed it, not about babysitting or a babysitter.

But then your point about the older babysitter and the younger MC... that could be good, on this site at least. Wouldn't fly on most others.

There is also the chance for a similar but different "young brother gets some help/lessons from older sister". This happens a bit in hentai comics, but I havent seen it in a non japan porn game. I actually heard something, I think it was about 10 to 15 years ago, that this was kinda a thing. I guess it would be considered the "tiktok" challenge of that time where sisters would be dared to do that stuff with their younger brothers on video/stream. This ended up with the video being shared, and it getting back to their parents, friends, etc and causing shitstorms for them. But... in a porn game setting... that could be interesting. And for the hard-no guys on the "older woman" thing, you could reverse it with the MC being a bit innocent or maybe unsocial, so the younger sister is actually more knowledgeable and helps him, but this feels dangerously close to "younger sister is a slut and MC gets sloppy seconds" territory. No idea, by the time I got my hands on it there was already plenty. Nowadays there's plenty of it everywhere. If you haven't checked it out again since then, I'd recommend giving it another try.

I tried, but I didnt have a save, and it had been so long I didnt remember much, so I tried to play it again. And somewhere around the time when you start to mess with the teachers in their dorms I ended up getting bored and stopped playing. I think the timing is important. I do agree with you that giving the pussy out too soon ruins a game, but the same is true of too late. Its very difficult, to the point where most devs end up giving a "taste test" early on, which to me is as bad or worse. Ive closed and deleted so many games where in day 1 MC has a dream where he fucks his mother, because that is the 'end game'. That's the whole goal of the game, and it happened, so game over. "Oh, well it's just a dream". Yeah, sure, but it looks like an image of the MC fucking his mother to me. That you show me a foggy screen after it is done does not suddenly make it feel less real to me than the actual scene would. Lately, most give some unimportant pussy to the MC early. Someone not part of the story, but just enough to give the player some tits and pussy so they stay interested 20 more minutes until they can get the background story out, and try to get your attention on the real LIs.

So I think if someone were to make a modernized Headmaster, it would need to deal with that.

  There's a few Rome games, a couple Viking games, but very little else (and to be honest, even most of those don't do much with the setting; I haven't played through a section of any Viking game where you actually, you know, go viking.
  
  But anyway, there's a lot of points through history where a guy of sufficient means could have had multiple wives and any number of slave/servant girls around the household, would have had absolute authority over that household, would have engaged in warfare where the women of defeated countries/cities would be fair game, etc. Doesn't make for a great society but ought to be rich fodder for a game. One of my "if I had any skill" ideas is a game centered around one of Alexander/loosely-based-on-Alexander's generals. Especially the episode where he makes all his Greeks marry local Persian girls.
  
  Alternatively, a kind of Crusader Kings-style medieval ruler game. I actually kinda liked Kingmaker's attempt at this; the management gameplay wasn't bad but it was way too short on actual story/interesting stuff/H-content, and the art was pretty bad.

  But as a teacher. I don't know why there's so few of them; seems like every game set in a school makes you an 18 year old boy with an 18 year old younger sister. A game starring a teacher should have lots of potential story options, especially for folks on this forum.   Can't think of any games where you play as a policeman (a couple have The Mentalist-style non-police detectives). And not a Tom Clancy thriller-hero, but an actual beat cop, handling business in the neighborhood. Again, lots of opportunities (cute 7-11 counter girl? teen shoplifter? rookie partner? mother/sister of neighborhood punk you keep arresting?), and lots of space for player freedom to be a corrupt jerk or an honest hero or something in between.

Too many devs miss out on the value of solidly written teasing. Done well enough it can keep you very hooked long before any actual intercourse happens.

Interestingly, I actually agree with you, but I think it depends a lot on the setting. For the kind of settings I usually enjoy, especially more normal or everyday ones like school settings, I really dislike when the game goes straight for that. But with something like The Headmaster, I just nod and think: "Yeah, I get it. It makes sense."

Things like: "Oh no, I was just walking through the living room five minutes into the game and my imouto's towel accidentally fell off, letting me see everything right away." Thanks, dev, but you haven't even given me enough time to care about the situation, let alone get excited about it.

In those kinds of settings, I appreciate when devs focus on building the characters first, making the player care about them, get to know them, and have the chance to get a good look at them. You even get time to wonder about things: "Would she have pubes? I bet she would. Would she be like this or like that?" That's half the fun. The anticipation is part of the experience. Then, when the payoff finally comes, it actually feels rewarding. I guess I'm a bit of a romantic that way.

With The Headmaster, though, I think it does enough with the setting and the charm of its characters to make it work for me.

The historical ones are harder for devs because lack of assets, and most of the ones that exist are pretty shitty. Most of these games end up having to change the story to make use of what rooms/furniture/clothing they can find. Ive seen ancient settings with denim jeans.... modern looking counters, etc. I imagine most of these devs throw up their hands and abandon the game.

Teachers... thats kinda what we were just talking about with Headmaster. Not exactly teacher, more like a US Principal. But close enough. I actually see teacher games once in a while, but they are normally not that great. There is actually one that was in the recent replies widget a few hours ago, but even though it says teacher, it sounds like the MC is actually some sort of discipline manager (adult) and not an actual teacher. I saw one a week or so ago that I passed by that was somethign about the MC being a female teacher. I think she was blackmailed by students, and I think I read something about her nephew or someone related to her being in it somehow. There was another... no idea what it was called or where it went. Had really good renders, but other than that, I thought it was meh. Had redhead daughters, which was a plus. Twins I think? Prob abandoned. Anyways, he was a teacher. I dont think the game got very far into the school part of it though. Was mostly just him getting the job then some family shit. Also... what is the name of it... Biggest milker ever. Was a HS game. I think the devs name was Bluecat or something like that. He did a decent amount of content and then... "im working on merging the previous versions" for 5 years. About once a year, pops in to make sure all the people STILL PAYING HIM know he is still milking working on the game.

I dont know the name of it, but there is a cuck game where the MC is a cop. I remember an arguement about it because they were saying you cant have a cuck cop.

I am going to go full batshit insane here... A Metroidvania porn game. You are the world's most powerful pervert with the most extreme fetishes. But you get ambushed one day by a bunch of mischievous schoolgirls (or schoolboys, might as well offer the player options) and they steal all of your kinks. You have to explore an interconnected world built from the most common porn game settings (a high school, a BDSM dungeon, your "landlady's" house, etc.) to rediscover your kinks and fuck the schoolgirls (the bosses) into submission. Each kink you unlock allows for more progression into the world.

Basically a Mega Man ZX game but with fucking. Lots and lots of fucking.

I only survived as far as I did in Headmaster the first time because redhead twins.... thats 2 checks on my list that are near the top. That bought a lot of credit from me. But after getting used to Daz, HS renders subtract too many points for those 2 check marks to make up for the slow draw. He is just a little too far in one direction. But agian, everyone is different. Some (read: most) players seem to need fappable content in the first 5 minutes or they bail. I hated that when I was working on a game with a dev. We heard lots of bitching about it, so had to waste time adding non-important character sex scenes in to keep that large number of players around. And even then... those caused problems. I dont think seeing the LI naked early is a deal breaker, but fucking them (even in a dream) is. Seeing them naked on the first render can be fine, if they deal with it correctly.

First render is MC looking through sisters not-quite-shut door and seeing her naked. Then some dialog about him seeing her as a "woman" for the first time. Then maybe some past reflection on seeing her, but not "noticing" her... then MC slowly over the next few days starts to notice even more. Then plans to peek, sneak in, etc.... You saw it first scene, but you didnt GET it. Day 1 fuck dream... Nope. Even with the foggy screen edges... you still gave away the milk.

I think if someone wrote a custom cheat mod for Headmaster, it could be better. Just one to systematically and correctly reduce the grind. Such as making more class times per day so you can get through more interactions without the whole sleep cycle interfering, and reducing (enough to help, but not enough to break) the points grinds for enabling new rules. I even cheat like a motherfucker and it was still grindy for me. But... I also enjoy digging in the code to find out how to cheat safely, so that prob added enough bonus fun for me to help lol.

Teachers... thats kinda what we were just talking about with Headmaster. Not exactly teacher, more like a US Principal. But close enough. I actually see teacher games once in a while, but they are normally not that great. There is actually one that was in the recent replies widget a few hours ago, but even though it says teacher, it sounds like the MC is actually some sort of discipline manager (adult) and not an actual teacher. I saw one a week or so ago that I passed by that was somethign about the MC being a female teacher. I think she was blackmailed by students, and I think I read something about her nephew or someone related to her being in it somehow.

It is kinda curious that so many of the school games we do get skip past teacher to some kind of omnipotent principal/dean figure. Some of the newer ones are Headmaster clones but it's older than that, all the way back to Ashford Academy and HHS.

There was another... no idea what it was called or where it went. Had really good renders, but other than that, I thought it was meh. Had redhead daughters, which was a plus. Twins I think? Prob abandoned. Anyways, he was a teacher. I dont think the game got very far into the school part of it though. Was mostly just him getting the job then some family shit. Also... what is the name of it... Biggest milker ever. Was a HS game. I think the devs name was Bluecat or something like that. He did a decent amount of content and then... "im working on merging the previous versions" for 5 years. About once a year, pops in to make sure all the people STILL PAYING HIM know he is still milking working on the game.

And Ecchi Sensei! Loved it when it first came out, then yeah it started spinning its wheels hard. People seriously still paying into that? Worse investment than NFTs.

I dont know the name of it, but there is a cuck game where the MC is a cop. I remember an arguement about it because they were saying you cant have a cuck cop.

Yeah, last I saw his discord still had tons of paid supporters paying him every month for I think 4-5 years now. This was prob in jan or feb of this year.
