Overview:
When Mark's wife dies suddenly, leaving him to care for their twin daughters, he falls into a deep depression. Two years later, Mark is still suffering and struggling to keep his job. Season 1 v1.0

What's new in this Season 1 release? Shaddy and Thor's Hamster cleaned up the code for me, so things will be a little smoother. I added an achievement system, but most of the achievements will be awarded just for playing through the game without worrying about choices. There is an autosave at the end so you can continue Season 2 with all of your playthrough information carried over.

What's not new? Pretty much everything else. There might have been a few dialogue fixes here and there, but there's no new content. Even the achievements are only for achievements sake. They won't unlock special images or anything.

If you played through chapter 6, do you need to play? If you don't care about the achievements, You need to play just to load your last save and then get your autosave.

MC's sister had a crush on him since they were young. They had fooled around when they were younger, but MC never viewed it as anything other than fooling around. The sister had feelings for him , but he was UNAWARE. Later, after many attempts to get the MC to have feelings for her had failed, she got frustrated and slept with someone TRYING to make the MC jealous. But it did not work as he did not have feelings for her. She ended up staying with this guy after getting pregnant. Years later ('now', in the game), she finally admits to him that she has had feelings for him and explains why she slept with the other guy (who she ended up marrying). He is no longer in the picture after his brief presence in the beginning of the game, before MC begins to have any feelings for the sister, or becomes aware of her past feelings for him.

For season 2, when MC starts being all dense, wishy-washy and hung up on his dead wife, just have on of the girls say "Claire, hit him." That should snap him out of it quicker.

I had to change Alina's hair for the first part of chapter 7 because of a Daz issue. I found a workaround, though, and should be able to go back to her original hair. Just pretend her hair looks different because she just woke up.

Other than that, no changes to the models. Every time I make a time jump of more than a couple days, I make very small adjustments to some of the models to indicate their changes over time. This is usually hair, beard, weight, etc. Things which would change naturally.

Some players may have noticed changes with Meera. Her appearance has softened and she seems more youthful now. That's likely because of the changes to her lifestyle. Back in Denver, RJ basically treated his mother as a live-in nanny/maid/cook, which caused a lot of stress in her life. It also put her at odds with Heather, as Meera felt it was her influence on RJ which caused him to act the way he did. Now, she and Heather have a much healthier relationship, and Meera sees that she is a valued member of the family. She might even have found love again (that's up to you, of course). Yes, her changes are likely because of the changes in her life... I'm sure they have nothing to do with the island itself.
