Edit: After playing it among other annoyances OSIL II it def is not; along with sandbox shit another crap "loli" AVN where everyone is 18 . Personally I just wouldn't have a pay site linked to it (no money to follow = the "FIB" wouldn't waste time if it's not easy for them to find the artist of cartoon porn) and then make the ages what they are actually supposed to be like the OG OSIL was. If they are supposed to be 10 then they are stated as such by default. So sick of "everyone is 18" shit. Fictional cartoons = fictional ages, usually without even fictional birth certificates to prove it.

ShinyDevon puts some serious work into their games andcontiunues to to this day, although not as often as they used to. TLDR if you have used Unren with option 1, then that breaks the mod if you don't delete the extracted script files. If you don't know what Unren is, you're good.

I get what you're saying. I'm guessing you were shaking your head at "those damned hippies", during the "summer of love". I was eight years old, then. I'm guessing you're pre-baby boomer? If so, we generally call yours the "perfect generation": Too young for WWII, and too old for VietNam (a few went to Korea). Anyway, the instructions presented with the posted mod are considered to be at a fundamental level for even the most casual user. Step-by-step instructions are likely what you need, but these game threads aren't really appropriate. I haven't searched for basic computer user info in more than 30 years, but there's bound to be something for you.

Ideally, if you had a 20-something grandson who could "hook you up" with your loli porn game mod, that would be awesome! Asking a grandDAUGHTER for help might be a little awkward.
(maybe avoid any great-granddaughters when it comes to ANY kind of porn) Yes, I'm teasing . . . I'm sure you behave yourself, as we all should.

Anyway, I know how hard it gets to learn new things. All we can do is try our best. These games are one of the few remaining simple pleasures we have. I wish you the best in your pursuit.

As stated by several people several times, this is the initial release, which some people call a demo.
It contains a short intro and the basic framework of a sandbox.
Currently, in this initial release, there is NOTHING in the sandbox as yet.
Once you have finished the intro and reached the sandbox stage, please quit the game and wait for the next version.

Let us break this up into two parts.

Part 1. Extract directly to onesummeraponatime-win. This is what you do with most mods, so I'm assuming there is no confusion here.

Part 2. (if you extracted script.rpa delete all .rpy and .rpyc before installing the mod.)
Notice the first word if. That tells you that if you haven't extracted script.rpa, then the rest of that sentence is not applicable to you. You may safely ignore it.

If you are curious and want to know what the modder is talking about in the second part of the instructions, please ask and I'll be happy to explain.

I think it's his frustration speaking for like years there has been dozens of demos but hardly 9 out of all of them got the complete tag. I think the perpetrator is devs doing it out of fun, it never works in the long run, you have to have some support to be motivated to end something on a better note.

No, actually you extract a folder that is usually called "game" and put that into the Game's folder that is called "game".

That is why I asked why do things have to be different.

All I usually ever have to do with a Mod, is just download the game, unzip it, then download the Mod, unzip it, then put the Mods stuff into the game's folder named "game".


So...back to my original statement...

After rereading the post from @Lola Adjani above. When I first read that post, I thought they were trying to be nice, but not I see they were just being an ass.

So, I am not only frustrated now, but I am also pissed.

Download and extract the game again as shown in the gif so that you have a clean game,
then extract my mod and put it in the game folder as shown in the gif,
then just enjoy.

Oh, and sorry for confusing you with the issue of .rpy and .rpyc files... it's just that people often extract the .rpa script (or another name that contains the game scripts to edit and modify them). As for my mod, I only left the .rpyc files. If there were any .rpy files that the person extracted, my mod basically wouldn't work because the game would give priority to the .rpy, which is basically why I wrote about this when I posted my mod.​

I would guess that if the dev got 5 pages of criticism (I'm not reading all this) then he probably quit the game. Honestly there were a few issues with the game that really got on my nerves, but could easily be solved. Personally I didn't look at the game close enough and I'm not really into the MC as a kid thing so that was my big turn off that means I won't play this game anymore. The dumb custom text thing taking up half the screen and the slow scroll with text speed not affecting it were my only real gripes though, it's distracting and usually I can optionally switch it to instant. Don't force your audience to sit through something that they are used to being able to customise, it's a sure way to annoy them.

Quick mod I made, now you can rename the character, the text comes directly instead of fading in or having pauses after the scores, I removed the dark transitions that are very annoying when navigating the map, I made the hud a little cleaner. Initially, I was going to implement my multimod in the game, but since there is not much content yet... I will wait for the next update from the developer and see what the fixes will be. @Achilicheese If you want to implement something like this directly in the game, feel free. If possible, put this temporary mod at the beginning of the game download so that people can use it only until you release a new update.

Yes. The link to the mod still works. If your browser doesn't automatically download zip files, try right clicking the link and selecting save link as from the menu.
