They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Apparently, whoever came up with that was never paralyzed after a car crash. But, as in any good story, there's a "but".An experimental treatment doesn't just get you back on your feet; it installs a couple of interesting updates to your "brain": telepathy and "dictator mode". Oh, and there's a side effect. Let's just call it "heightened motivation" for all things beautiful.And so you're home. Surrounded by caring women who see a poor soul who miraculously survived.
