My comment is directed at the dev after reading some comments (here and in other games), and that is that he should be careful to differentiate between criticism of his game and criticism born of personal tastes.

In other words, don't try to reach everyone, or you'll end up reaching no one. Listening to feedback is good, but other devs take it too seriously and end up disappointed when they see that their project no longer feels like theirs. It's your game, do what you want with it. Accept the criticism that will help you improve, but don't let others influence the story you want to tell.

We've lost too many devs because of people who end up overwhelming them.

Can not stand the scrolling text. Even set to max it is too slow. When you fix that dev, ill give the game a try. Until then, its going in the recycle bin.

i don't remember where it is but in options.rpy you can set the speed..
unfortunately, some idiot devs have discovered they can force it per script line displayed.. why do they think everyone reads like a 2nd grade student???
anyways i'm hoping he did the global setting in options, easier to fix.. if he did, i'll let you know what to do.

I've been seeing a few teachers talking about it online, but (in the US) we have literally been teaching our kids how to read wrong for two generations.
Apparently millennials were the last generation to be taught phonics, so the zoomers were told to guess what words are based on vibes.
over half the country(adults) cannot read at a 6th grade level.

some of us can just read really fast. it helps for me if all the text just appears on the screen at one time so i can read as fast or as slow as i need to that day. its like watching youtube at 1.5x speed, people that cant do it think people that can are missing something but its just that we drink too much coffee
