I have an unbiased opinion that people should give ntr a couple of tries.
Maybe you will love the corruption of the girl or stealing other people women.

Netorare and Netorase are viable kinks for some people, I and likely many others share the same idea that it is not one of the kinks we care for, this doesn't mean we haven't tried it, we have tried it that's how we know we dislike it. Netori on the other hand is a more accepted part of the NTR umbrella because it's closer to an estranged sibling of the genre and more attuned to your target cheating on her partner with you. A lot of people who like Netori will hate Netorare and Netorase vehemently and the same can be said for the other side of the NTR coin. Since NTR as a term is a widely used verbiage to describe more than one kind of activity (think of it as an umbrella description) it can and will bring out differing opinions based on the listener/reader.

As an aside I love Netori (the act of stealing other people's women) but I dislike Netorase/Netorare as I am not a fan of watching someone I'm interested in be corrupted/tainted by someone else.

I wish there were more options when reviewing games online. I see all of them with NTR warnings and I wish they would clarify, Netori or Netorare. I personally enjoy stealing or cheating behind someones back in a VN. As for Netorare, I would prefer Netorase or go full poly instead of being cheated on. problem is when you block all NTR you end up with a bunch of vanilla relationship choices.

the real question that should be asked is why 3 diametrically opposed things are all under the same general tag. netorase doesn't even involve loss or Li stealing, and netori is literally the opposite of netorare. so what idiot thought it was a good idea to bundle the 3 under the same umbrella? makes zero sense to have them under the same tag.

netori has the mc in control of the situation, and doing the stealing, makes sense, and low key is practically vanilla by todays standards. easy to understand why people would be into that, not really for me but i get it.

netorase would be better merged into the sharing/swinging tag over the ntr tag. does the Li bang other dudes, yes, but at your behest, you are still in control, and she doesn't leave you. personally i find it incredibly hot, though i may be getting off more to the loyalty to not leave the mc, so could just be me.

netorare . . . this is the messed up one normal people do not understand. the Li gets stolen, and leaves the mc.... how or why anyone gets off to that i genuinely do not understand. is it some kinda masochistic thing? an extension of some humiliation kink? (another kink i dont understand frankly) personally i find netorare appalling and do my best to avoid it like the plague.

the three are so different that despite being into 1 myself, and understanding another, the third and most prevalent of the three categories MAKE ZERO SENSE to me at all, and i dont understand why anyone could be into it in the first place... but to find the parts im into i have to risk running into the one i hate... there is no sane reason why the three of these are almost always lumped under the same tag, despite all being radically different. this is something that really needs to change, not just here, but the whole damn internet.

This is some one-dimensional thinking imo. I also wouldn't say manga or anime is strictly for a younger audience. If there's a popularized unique word in a different language that specifically describes something, I think it's fair to use in English considering we've been doing that for ages now.

For example, "karaoke" is a japanese term, "entrepreneur" is french, etc.
