I figured out a way to not only tolerate NTR games but to downright enjoy the fuck out of them.

I just pretend I"m the one doing the cucking in the VN! Even when the entire VN is written 1st person cuck version, I just see it as the guy who's girl I just stole complaining.

To me NTR's are just a love story written to me by the cuck's lady. Once I got used to it I found that NTR writing was usually higher quality and more interesting than a lot of other VN's.

Yes that is true but because people like to put themselves as the mc,view things from his perspective more exactly and that is why most people hate/dislike the ntr games(myself included) i often put myself (be it intentionally or not) in the perspective of the mc (as long as he is male,never been able to put myself in a fmc perspective) and just got that feeling of disgust you know,as long as i dont view myself actually being the mc i have no problem playing them and acually enjoying them.

When I play an NTR game I start purposefully making choices that will lead to it. That way I can disconnect from the story just enough to enjoy it. It's like I've taken ownership of the choices, rather than feeling like I'm running in place while some dream monster chases me.

What the hell does NTR stand for?

NTR stands for Netrorare (MCs love interest gets stolen or fucked without his consent), but it sometimes is used for Netorase (MC lets his love interest get fucked with his consent).
They seem similar to cucking an sharing, but the key element here is that the MC feels negative emotions like jealousy, fear of losing her, despair, helplessness and disgust for themself for getting aroused by this.
There is also Netori, that's when the MC is the one in the fucking position.

It's to note, that it's not neccesary that the love interest had given consent for any of this, this can all be rape or blackmail. But it's common for the love interest to like the sex but still loves the MC.
And usually the one that fucks/steals is a worse person (pesonality and/or appearance wise) than the one who gets cucked.

"Solo male MC getting all the girls" is most games I come across. Is this your preferred format or are you okay with MC sharing his harem?
I'm not talking about NTR, cheating or the girls doing things with each other.
Would you play a game, where you share your harem with a trusted friend (either just him and the girls or being part of a threesome, foursome, etc...) or where you share you family with a son, father, brother, etc.

To be honest, I think both approaches can be compelling depending on how well the story is written.

What makes one game great can be very different from what makes another great. There are some games where I'd absolutely pick the "share" options, but in others, I avoid those choices as much as possible.

I think that in lot of cases it depends on the agency of all of the characters in the story, if the characters are open to the ideas or being pressured into them can also make a big difference.

If I had to choose one approach to be the only choice in all of the games I played going forward though, I think I'd choose for my "harem-style" games to lack sharing. I'd rather be able to make that choice in each game though (yes, I know it's tougher on the dev).
