I personally don't like NTR but in the context of AVNs, they can be pretty tasteful if they're not the main focus but rather a part of the world.

Take Mind Control by Special Mind for example, the "NTR" is that people will have relations/have had relations with others and rather than the game dancing around it like it's not even a part of characters' lives, it's basically just like real life. The main character exhibits jealousy but also has a way to prevent it from happening and the other characters rather than seeing MC as the only guy, also have other interests and they don't come off as "NTR-ish" but come off as natural and genuine.

Too many games tread not wanting to explore other characters talking about their past or being completely mum about wanting or having sex with other people, and I think that stunts a huge part of character development for the MC, and especially other LIs.

I don't like ntr,I sometimes play some because it's strange that male characters in ntr games are generally made more good looking by the authors,a lot of male characters in games with female protagonists aren't made as attractive,I like good looking male characters

Probably because a lot of NTR games play on the insecurity of the audience, so you play as a schlubby guy with a hot girlfriend and watch much more attractive (and strong/wealthy/socially adept/whatever makes the player and MC feel inferior) men steal her away.

Whereas a lot of female protagonist games seem to be centered around degrading the protagonist, and often part of that is forcing unappealing men or even animals on her.

Oddly enough after a while I learn to pretty much ignore dialouge if it's pretty worthless, but if they really focus on the one being cucked or if I like the character that's being cucked I still feel hatred for it and can't really focus on anything else.

Personally I dont identify with characters like a lot of people apparently do. Its just a pr0n game.

I feel an increased desire to punish the female character, not myself, to make her suffer, which makes me a little bit corrupt. In fact, this is exactly what the internet does. That's why I've been looking at NTR content for the last year, but I would never want it to happen to me in real life. It's attractive in games. Because you don't have a connection with the main character or the character exposed to NTR.

I'm not sure, but I don't think I liked it from the start. I remember having a hot dream about being cheated on, but I think the seed was planted elsewhere. I have been pushed into relationships I didn't want, so I think infidelity from either part is, apart from a kink, a convenient excuse to escape from the commitment.

No, when i first saw ntr hated it like most. With time i learned to dissociate from the story becuase what i like about most ntr is the corruption and subsequent lewdness of the girl/s.

My favourite genres are vanillas that manage to achieve the same lewdness from the girls like in ntr content

Yes I agree. The reactions to these kinds of subjects seem so surreal to me. Endless discussions about definitions, NTR/NTS/whatever letter combination. Or people that have some moral butthurt about this kind of genre but seem to have no problem enjoying fucking "their" mommy and sister while molesting them at night. In a game, in a game of course, you degenerates. ;-) But if you experience a game so personally why the hypocrisy about other likes? Like you said, its a porn, and for me personally the corruption and falling low, very low, is a total like.

Those with the worst reputation are usually the most cruel, those who use brainwashing, drugs, magic, hypnosis, extortion, rape and much more to achieve their objective, not only did they take away the person you love, but that person didn't want it to happen either and is suffering.
I made up the abbreviations, don't pay too much attention to them. This post was born entirely out of boredom.

• NETORARE (NTR): It's the base and the best known, based on the infidelity of couples, although it also extends to love interests, like that person you like and who is now having sex with someone else while you read this. It has three main subdivisions.
  
  
• First Person NTR (NTR 1): You're the victim, the person you love is having relations with someone else, and it's also the first one that comes to mind when someone talk about NTR. In hentai it's not that common to see because the protagonist is the victim, an example of this genre is Garden Takamine Keno Nirinka.

• NETORASE (NTRS): A rather particular one, here you voluntarily let others use your partner or exchange partners with someone else, if you have played Brothel simulators and similar it goes more or less along those lines.
