Doesn't matter. If someone insult you, report them and we'll take care of it. Continuing the drama would get all parties involved in trouble. In my opinion, Japanesse NTR is really awful, I don't enjoy watching MCs being humiliated.
But at the same time there are games with NTR that are not even badly done, I mean, it's cool when NTR is like punishing the player for being low-skill, or not doing enough grind, like not pumping in strength or intelligence, or not paying attention to his love partner, or cheating left and right, the idea itself is cool, and it always makes you think about every move you make, not just press CTRL and fuck everyone.

Hi there. Just gathering opinions on the title question. If there are clones or copies of the protagonist in a game and the clone(s) have sex with a love interest, does it count as NTR? My thinking is that if the clone is independent of the MC and can act autonomously then it's yes. On the other hand if the clone is created by the MC and is basically an extension of his will (think shadow clones form Naruto) then it's a no.

I'm mostly interested in this as a way to have gangbangs in a harem game while still having the MC be the only male with access to the harem. Thoughts?

There was an old SF story we read (in 1996, when I was in college taking a lit course in 20th Century SF) and it had parts where clones of the same person (of both sexes) fucked. Someone asked "isn't that incest?" The prof asked "is it incest or masturbation?"
Also, if cloning was able to be done like that (where it could be made instant or very fast adult) and someone told you to go fuck yourself, you kind of could...

Depends on if it's clones or "clones". An actual clone would be more similar to your kid than to you, and would count. A "clone" would depend on what it actually is.

Unless it is temporary, like when having a superpower to create copies of yourself that will disappear/merge back into you, a clone would essentially be your twin brother. Most clones in media are just beings created from your DNA, which is basically what happens with embryos sometimes. So it would definitely be NTR.
That said, I would easily share girls with a clone. Hahaha

Normally a clone wouldn't. AFAWK IRL or in SF. Obviously only non-humans have been cloned. No reason to think they'd share a mind though.
