male protag, with female you cant win often literally as most female protagonist games require you to lose for the porn and as a pro gamer with l33t skills i simply can not lose.
also games are self inserty by nature, any game no matter how much youre role playing a character YOU are the one playing the character so when it comes to porn games you have to be a bit gay to play a woman.

In non porn games, I usually choose at random flipping a coin, but in h games, I prefer female protagonists.

In video games without sexual content I often will pick a female, because I like pretty girls and in games like Fallout 4, I would much rather look at a girls ass than a guys ass...
Now in a porn game I pick a male protagonist because I would rather see my character fuck a girl instead of my character sucking a dick.

This is me pretty much identical. In most video games, you rarely are doing anything sexual, and I would rather watch a female than a male character. But in those games, I generally romance the female (lesbian) choices. In lewd games, I almost always play male characters as the sexual scenes are much more frequent and explicit.

Depends on my mood. As far as that goes, content is content. Girl and guy on screen? Great! Two girls on screen? Even better! Guy and two girls? You know where this is going.

Both have their strong points, corruption fMC sounds more fun, exploration and other themes I like more male MC.

I play both. I never understand why people will get upset when female characters are playable in game, I think it is interesting to play from female view. If you are a male and worried about playing as female then I think you have some insecurity about that.

When there is a choice male protagonist for sure but there are some good female only protag games like Her Desire and Project Myriam

Pretty much always pick male since I prefer to self insert, especially for porn games. Some exceptions of course but generally I look for games with male protags

I'm a role-player for too long to remember.
I can be either a female or a male, even on tabletop roleplay games, and my recurrent character for D&D (mostly as a DM, so often the villain) is a "hard-to-tell" kobold, who plays with that ambiguity.


And in the real life, even if I'm a male, if I hide my face with a medical mask, people tends to call me "madam".

When it comes to PG, 99% of the time, my own gender.

When it comes to NPG games, depends on the game. But BG3 is a good example where I chose a female character (exhibitionist party). Though even some RPGS, with some erotic scenes, tend to also go male more often than not.

both are good aslong as I can control fetishes and both genders have similar scenes so many games have male = dom and female = sub when it should be a mix of both
