discussion Male or female protagonist?

I usually play Male Protagonist. But i've seen very little games where you can choose female Protagonist.
I'm sure most games are created by males for males, that's why there's most likely a male protagonist.

By and large male protagonists, just easier to relate to and that helps with "immersion"

Depends of the game really. I'd say both are good depending on the type of game.

I usually play as male unless there’s no other way.I think it kinda makes me immerse myself more into the game.

If its an adult game, i prefer male characters but for general video games, I choose female characters. for example,
Assasins creed odyssey: Kassandra is much better.
Cryberpunk: V is better potrayed as a female in the game.
Skyrim: i like the idea of female khajit.
and the list goes on...

I filter out exclusively female protags (for porn games), definitely prefer males. Futa protags are not a deal breaker tho. I am a simple man, I like seeing p-in-v, honestly kind of a bonus is the p is on someone attractive. A bit easier to immerse with a male protag tho.

Male protagonist because I'm a guy and i treat characters as self inserts so no way could i play a female that goes after guys. But i will do futa protagonist if and only if it is lesbian content only.

That's pretty much how it goes for me too, if its futa on male you lose me real quick lol

Typically prefer a male MC, but some of the devs do a good job with female MCs like Partedes (It's Not A World For Alyssa, The Big Step, and Molly's Life).
