Curious how others feel on this one.

At first I didn't care for it, but mostly because it was usually poorly done. More recent games are doing this better (AI tools, or just putting in the time to include it?), and I'm finding I now prefer it.

Went back and replayed a couple games without lewd sounds and really noticed the silence and found it a little offputting.

Depending on the game ig
id rather it be mute than listen to Ai though

If there's a lot of variety. The same high pitched moan over and over kinda sucks after a while

Generally nay. I can imagine my own sound effects and the ones included in the game are often pretty bad.

I've been playing the games silent lately. The games I've played kept using repeated audio and it kinda got old fast.

Honestly not a fan of all the plopping and squishing noises in a lot of them, just unrealistic and childish to me. As for moaning I STRONGLY prefer the female has moaning, sucks that a lot of games don't add any.

Nay - I usually play with the sound off, because the stock loops most use, so the sounds are part of those casualties. Also the VO performances are less performance, more "line reads"
I make an exception for Maou - their games have some metal bangers that should be on spotify.

As long as it's done right and fits with the story, hell yeah.

I do like em, but so many games use them badly that i often just mute it.

Personally, I don't care. Those cases when I encountered games with similar soundtrack are few, the quality of the voiceover was so low that I just automatically mute. I don't play Japanese games (due to aesthetic aversion to the graphics of these games), so I can't say anything about them. In Western games (in a broad sense, for me Poland, Russia, and Ukraine are also the West) the sound, in my opinion, is excessive. If you need oohing and aahing and moaning, watch real porn.

My mental health was shaken by the sounds of a man's ending in an old game "Life is pleasure" and now I often play without sound. Although in more expensive projects I try to overcome myself and enjoy the ambient and other sounds except the sound of the damn door closing.

I normally play on my phone, and it lives on mute, so either way I'm not likely to hear it!
