Antivirus is bloatware mostly only grandpas still use. This PC is still on W7 even and I still don't need it with proper backups (that I haven't even needed in over a decade).

Use Chrome, problem solved. I clicked download anyway and it's fine on my end. Seems to be yet another false positive like most all Renpy games, though this one has all 3 versions within the .rar, that might have something to do with it as most are separate .zips.

yeah, lolis' heads are supposed to be barely above the door knob, wtf is this? Isn't the sister supposed to be 12 or something? I never met any 6-foot 12yo girls (a couple of 17's were in HS though). Oh well, better luck with 0.3.

Yeah the only thing anyone should use is antimalware like malwarebytes (and even then not that necessary if you're competent). Antiviruses not only don't do anything, they flat out just compromise your system (on top of being bloatware).

sorry to go slightly off subject here, but can you enlighten me?

Not gonna touch McAfee with a 50 feet pole!

I get a lot of custom from McAfee users. They bought me a car this year ...

I can't believe there's people that still use McAfee lmfao

Whats wrong with mcafee? I thought the firewall in provided was helpful no?

Beyond the very early days of the service, McAfee has some of the worst protection on the market despite also being extremely sensitive with false flags. It's much more of a resource hog than something like malwarebytes, or even other antiviruses. It was also adware for a very long time, forcefully bundled with many other products, which people generally hate. It used to also give you popup ads frequently to buy premium, don't know if it does that anymore.

The biggest issue with antiviruses in general is they're just simply not really any better than Windows Defender (and, y'know, common sense), which is already built into your system. And if you want additional protection, again, malwarebytes is plenty.

There's also stuff like

that sources from multiple scans without having to download anything.

at best, it's a very weak and incompetent antivirus.
at worst, it could be called malware, since it's needlessly heavy and collects user data that is not essential for its function as an AV.
but mostly it's a scummy adware that's meant to collect data and make money far before being a competent AV. you'd be much better off with something like bitdefender.

Norton flagged this game as Medium warning and recommended deleting all of its files. Then Norton also found a root tool kit on my PC. Not sure if this game was responsible, but I deleted "Let me in 3d" from my PC and will reload software. I also ran "Norton Power Eraser" which is free.

The ratio of the character size to the backgrounds seems off. Character appear large compared to the furniture/doors/counter etc.

Works good on Joiplay now

Tried vpn from US, Canada, and Panama

Gofile: "This content does not exist"
Ranoz: "This site can’t be reached ranoz.gg’s DNS address could not be found
Fireload: "Invalid File Key"
Krakenfiles: Eset outright blocked the webpage stating "This web page may contain
dangerous content that can provide remote access to an infected device, leak sensitive
data from the device or harm the targeted device.
Vikingfile: "File not found"

is the Kraken Files website hit, a false positive?

Edit to add.....

Well, not going to worry about it.... Lost interest in this title after reading a few of the other posts.
