Hey guys, sorry for another forced thread.

The first forced thread for the LU existed for one reason: I needed people to actually see it, use it, and report what was broken or annoying so I could fix it fast. A lot of you gave solid feedback and I took most of it and implemented it.

So yeah, it’s been updated a lot. Now I need you to tell me straight: what do you think?

• Does it feel better to use?
• Anything still bugged or missing?
• Anything that looks wrong or feels clunky?
• What should be changed next?

If you report a bug, please include:

• Screenshot (or short video if it’s a weird issue)
• PC or mobile + what browser
• What you clicked right before it happened

This is temporary while we finish polishing and fixing the remaining issues. Once it’s stable.

My honest opinion, under the sort function, the icons don't actually say what they are. When you click the button and sort it'll say it under the url of the website but otherwise it doesn't. Although the first button doesn't say. I am only assuming the first button sorts by literally the latest update of said item? My only suggestion would be words instead of/in addition to symbol pictures.

Well sense you took a forum in 2023 that was working with a easy to read interface latest update page that just showed that this site has newest to oldest.

I can say it now

-Load's faster
-The default setup hurts the eyes until you adjust it
-Latest update requires you to adjust settings every time and its less intuitive/quicker than the first one


But the big change i seen is the huge drop of posters even activity dropped with all these changes to everything you did a good job making alot of people quit the site.

In the new LU a tooltip pops up if you hover with a mouse over it.

Maybe make that clearer in the OP, so that not more users will bug report the old LU?

The only thing that I find a bit small, or challenging to read, is the version #

Yet everything seems fine to me.
Is it the same size as the left side with the game engine & artwork info?
Could be the color combo.

Haven't fiddled with it much yet but all I can say is yay , I can now take off the sunglasses again. That mostly white hurts after a few minutes of it. Also no need to squint anymore since we got the big thumbnails back (I'm half blind from all the fapping ). Other than that hoping the filter settings are saved/stay put, normally I have it set to latest update but it kept defaulting to latest comment if I left and came back. Other than that there's not many bells or whistles that come to mind I normally use.

Your forum custom settings for theme/colors still do though i agree nice to have readable text back no need for the binos anymore

That means that you always have to click on it to see what tags a game has (many games have 3dcg, animated and big-tits as the first 3 and thus make all games seem sameish). If it has many tags you even have to scroll the window to see them all and you need to close it manually too.
This is not very user friendly, because the less clicks one has to do to see informations, the better it is.

In the previous LU you could hover over the game and it expanded automaticly, it wasn't perfect either, because you still needed to click on the + button to show all tags.
But this kind of gui is more intuitive and simpler/easier to use.


If this kind of automatic expansion isn't possible with the new LU, would it be at least doable to make the tag window appear automaticly with all the tags listed while hovering over?


I don't use it on mobile so I have no idea how this works there.


Also it seems that the new LU is lacking the star-rating? Or will it be only added when a new review plug-in gets addes to LC?

i will try to fix the tag issue, as for the rating issue i am waiting for the dev of the actual rating addon to convert it to 2.3 then i will add it to lu

i come to you with the same complaint i have almost all the time. it doesnt fit my browser window, and this is on my normal monitor not my ultrawide.

I clicked somewhere at the search menu, cause I tried to filter by games+ (couldn't find it btw.) and now the search side bar is missing and cannot reactivate it.
