Kirk or picard

Give me Rule 63 images, then I'll take one of the sides!

Never Captain of the Enterprise. Only in alternate timeline and when Picard was Locutus. There was Rachel Garett Captain of the Enterprise C killed in Yesterday's Enterprise, and of course Harriman who was the idiot Captain who got Kirk killed on the Ent B maiden voyage. Left spacedock without a tractor beam, without photon torpedoes. Engines weren't even tested at warp power. Had no ships Nurse, Doctor or Engineer.
You should (re)watch the finale of picard s01.
But following the past arguments i still wait for "Janeway because she had tits" ^^

Kirk. All his crew were professionals. Uhura most talented linguist and communication officer in Starfleet, Scotty best engineer, Sulu best helmsman, best navigator weapons officer in Chekov. Spock best first officer, science officer, Bones best Doctor. A group of legends. And Kirk was a cowboy with a phaser as much as a diplomat he was he could throw and land a punch or kick, and he had his way with the ladies. Only Sisko is as much a badass as Kirk.

I like TNG Picard as the poet Philosopher, but movie Picard like in First Contact more in line with Kirk and being decisive. No didn't have a meeting he didn't deliberate in committee he just decided to end the Borg, and he never once tried to negotiate with them. His line i will make them pay for what they have done, is almost like Kirk's let them die. Unlike Kirk he has no remorse. Then again i always disliked Meyer making Kirk a racist in VI. Spock tells him the Klingon race is going to die out and he doesn't care, thats not Star Trek. At least he overcomes his prejudice and realizes he was wrong.

It would be more fun being Kirk than being Picard.

But if you were serving on board the ship, you'd want Picard in command every time.

Kirk, Kirk's appearances broke some significant ground for television and was simply more significant, plus what they turned Picard into is definitely a strike against him by revisiting his character.

Well Patrick did say he would never play Professsor X again, or Picard and in both cases they offered him enough money to say yes.

If I have to choose between those two then Picard. And I mean show Picard not the strange attempt at an action hero he ended up becoming in the movies which never made sense.

If I'm not limited to those two then Sisko is the man you want in your corner when shit already hit the fan and you need to win no matter what.

Lkie Sxleuay? I tihnk I wolud auactlly go wtih Jnwaeay in this paiuartclr ctgareoy.

Kirk for storyline and some things, Picard for special effects and some other things. Especially early on TNG. I remember when MAD did a parody it had like aliens attacking and Picard would be like "have our lawyers write them a strong letter!"

Depends on the situation.

Kirk is like a Hattori Hanzo sword. If in his journey he should encounter God or Gods, they would be beaten. He is literally able to defeat unwinnable scenarios.

Picard is great if you are anything less than daytime bridge crew and you care about things like statistics and OSHA and life itself.

I'll say picard because it's the first one that came to mind so it's the most honest.
