Not an update, its a standalone game based on the next "movie" she was required to make. Handful of scenes all in costume/character for the movie based on scooby-doo, update at end of June picks up in the theater where 1.2 ended.

The girls are constantly being convinced into situation they do not want to be involved in because they are primarily at various levels of stupidity. Even the smartest girl in the game would be a dimwit in the real world. That said, the developer plays on this to comedic levels and I'm pretty sure it was the intent all along. The dialog is one giant exercise in absurd verbal persuasion. So what begins as eyeroll moments, winds up being entertaining as hell.

You're 100% spot on about this, honestly some of the situations get so absurd that I have to just take a break from it and come back later. I'm either laughing too hard or cringing too hard lol.

1. It was made a standalone game to reduce the ballooning size of the main title.
2. It's called Velma, it does not have its own page.
3. Yes, the Halloween special was a standalone as well.

Well I actually don't think this update can be considered a standalone. It's not something external to the game and it's a step in the main story so technically, like the first movie that Alyssia shot, it's a normal update... I'd say version 1.25. A version halfway between 1.2 and 1.3

1.25 not 1.3, 1.3 isn't arriving to paid folks until the end of June. 14 day waiting period would suggest a leaker can add it the 13th or 14th.
