discussion Is gameplay important to you?

I'm fine with game play but don't add in annoying shit like slide puzzles or useless busy work.
Grinding for shit isn't game play it's simply a time sink

Depends on my mood for that day. Sometimes I am wanting a game that is more like a typical game and involves me doing things, and other times I just want to relax and enjoy a good VN where I don't have to micro manage different things. I see it as sometimes I like hard rock music, but other days I am feeling like orchestra music.

There are a lot of games that add grindy elements to pad out the run time with little reward which I don't like. But I do prefer games with a moderate amount of gameplay because for me it helps with the build-up to sex scenes and makes it feel more rewarding

If it's really a porn game, not just a game with adult elements, then the gameplay can't be too complex. At max some point & click or something in which you move around and interact with people/things, so that you xan play while fapping.
For me, VN is really one of the best genre of porn games.

Absolutely! A clunky and unintuitive UI or needlessly grindy game play can ruin what would otherwise be a good game.
