If a porn game has non-trivial gameplay, it needs to be just as good as that of any other game. This is where most of them fail. If a porn game has a non-trivial game loop, it's usually atrocious. For example in a sandbox game, when you just want to see the last event, you may have to advance the day by going to bed many times in a row until you can advance one step, and then you need to wait even more in-game days for the next step and so on. (Happened to me at the end of Harem Hotel. As that game is otherwise fantastic and I at least I didn't have to go to work every day or something similarly stupid, I can tolerate that this happened after > 50 hours of great gameplay. But that's an exception.)

Town of Magic is an example of a game with a pretty good RPG game loop. It can barely be called a porn game, but it's fun. Most RPG Maker games are not. RPG Maker makes it possible to create really good RPGs, but most people who try just do not have the competence, and for those who try make porn games with RPG Maker it's even more true.

Perhaps the best kind of porn game with non-trivial gameplay is pure visual novels (no sandbox) that have significant branching with sometimes surprising long-term consequences and/or various mini-sandboxes or minigames with a good game loop. But even these kinds of games are rarely good. I think Ataegina is an example of a game of the second type (mostly linear VN but with RPG segments) that is really good.

Therefore in practice, I prefer porn games with no gameplay. That way, even if the game is otherwise crap, at least it doesn't waste so much time.

It's hard to integrate porn into real-time gameplay (you only have so many hands, after all) so the only thing most games go for is turn based RPG or some weird time wasting menuing bullshit. So it's not too important for me.

It is nice if games are somewhat more interactive. But I don't like many sandbox games or games that have grindy mechanics. I'm here to be entertained, not to do work.

I like a bit of a mix. I want gameplay, but there is a reson I am playing these type of games and not LoL. So story comes first, gameplay second.

Sex IRL vs games is different for most people. In a game getting right to the sex is a snooze fest. There needs to be some build up. Timing is critical in storytelling, comedy and games. In real life, I think most guys would just like to get to the sex

thanks it looks like the spiritual successor of Breeding Season but on unreal engine in full 3D, nice
