Hero's ... erase season 2 and continue. The issue I believe was the writers strike which tanked the later episodes.

Red Dwarf (I know, it's still getting milked), but a direct follow on from Season 7. Ignore Season 8 (or write it off as a fever dream), ignore the "Back to Earth" miniseries, and ignore everything after that.

I want small budget, great writing, tight cast, with shonky sets and everything. I don't want big(ger) budget, milk it for every penny, CGI to the nines, with forced humor, tired jokes, and an unnatural laugh track.

I'll also add a silly anime one: There's this dumb isekai called Knights & Magic or some shit, but the gimmick is that the dude was like autism levels of obsessed with Gunpla and mecha anime.
So of course, he ends up in a world with robots and the anime is about him designing and makin robots and then the robots fight.
I need more autistic robot anime

Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles. They left on a cliffhanger where John Conner went to the future to try to stop Skynet and he meet his father.

Oh man, I remember being so mad about that one. I think it was right around the time that one of the x-men cartoons got cancelled right after teasing age of apocalypse stuff, and I was all "Why do they keep dying right at the best part!"

Easy pick for me, "Firefly." That show got done so dirty. One season wasn’t nearly enough for the world-building, the characters, and that perfect mix of space cowboy chaos. We deserved more Mal, more Kaylee, more banter, and way more weird adventures.


Plus, can you imagine how wild it would be to see where the story could’ve gone if they had time to fully flesh it out? Still hurts a little, not gonna lie
