sorry but if we dont remove games the host does not on their servers we have to comply or be forced to move to a new host & no one here wants that atm.

Then it seems to me we can expect every loli heavy game to be removed eventually, as nothing has been done so far to stop whoever is mass reporting everything.
Then we are just back to the same question that has been asked repeatedly over the last year of why should people go here vs go to other sites. It used to be for the content available, but if that goes away then what?
TBH the attitude of the mods was a bonus, but seeing how their responses are to some of these threads have been terrible that seems to be already at the point Fuck95 mods are. As just a random it feels like the mods here very clearly favor some power users vs others.

We actually did take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again, can't say how but we did.

One thing I would like to see added to LC is a way to filter out content that we dont want to see. For example sometimes I want to play something a little more complex than point and click RenPy games, so I would love to be able to filter those out
Click profile icon - click blocking settings - ignoring - tags - manually add tags you don't want to see. Will not work with latest updates page though but works with game and sinner section.

Why is the "sinners section removed for now"?
Mostly due to host issues.

With the recent changes in allowed content, I think LC will see a dramatic drop-off in traffic. It is a great site, but it is now competing directly with the biggest porn game pirate site which has a huge advantage in terms of users and postings. I am sure that many of you noticed that (ball-parking numbers here) 10% of the games produced 90% of the comments in the game section. With those games gone, there is less to attract people to come here. Sorry

Concur. Another thread detailing a major recent LC event which is now purged from existence. I'd prefer locked threads to them just being obliterated entirely, hard to get involved in the future of or keep up with events for this site if the opportunities for discussion are effectively time-limited. "Sorry, that was decided yesterday between 6pm and 9pm before the thread got deleted. Guess you should've been there."
It also deletes the post count of people who post in that thread, which under the new role that's been added can be incredibly important.
I posted it in another thread but I guess I'll post it here too since I'm here. Please either lock/hide (viewable only to mods/admins?) posts instead of outright deleting them so users can keep their post count. It sucks when you engage in a thread under hopes of the new aspiring role (though we didn't know it at the time, too) only to have the thread deleted and their post count as a result. In this case, we were all actively discussing all the crap the site went through so it seems more punishing since it was very related to what was going on.
Either that, or find a way to keep users post count despite threads being deleted entirely.

Indeed. Though whether these qualify as meaningful under the new guidelines is another matter, but if it means there's a threshold that prevents someone from just stumbling upon the site, throwing up their arms in indignant horror at all the poor, abused pixels, and then reporting every page and post to every agency and host (hmmm, that rhymes), then I guess it's worth considering, though I'm still not thrilled about it. Kinda wish donations did count towards "status", at least if I managed to scrape together a few quid I could save having to force out a bunch of posts just to access content.
I guess we'll see how things develop when K is back up to strength and everyone has had a say (deleted threads notwithstanding).

1 - Move the "Search" bar to the midle and make it larger. For a feature that people use constantly its really small and to the side.
2 - Add dedicated search for games.
3 - There are still plenty of games and mods for games that are missing from the website. Some effort in that direction would be greatly appreciated.
4 - List all tags when making/opening a new forum topic so I can select the relevent ones otherwise Its just guesswork finding the right ones.

The new requirements seem plausible, but in the long run, they most likely will not weed out the true snitches. Busybodies love rules and will play the game as good or better than most lurkers, growing in status, only to backstab everyone.
