discussion How Often Do You Choose the Non-Harem Ending

If a game gives you the choice to end with a single love interest or end with a harem, how often do you chose the single LI over the harem?

When I'm playing a game that has (for instance) 3 LI's and I can choose to either end with girl A, B, C, or all three, I'm going to take that last option every time. I'll probably skip through the other endings for completions sake just to see the scenes, but for me, that harem or polygamous ending is always going to be the ending I'm playing towards.

It's to the point for me that I'm disappointed if there isn't a harem ending.

I do a Harem Ending first, if the game allows it. Afterward I do the focused individual stories, since they're usually deeper than Guy fucks everyone, The End

If the non-harem route is unique or deviates significantly from the harem route I take those too. But generally the harem route seems to be the canon or preferred route, so I typically take that first unless the game indicates that the non-harem route is the canon route (or the most developed route). But most games seem to make the harem route the default/canon route and anything else is just cut down from the harem route, so if it's like that I won't bother with the other routes.

Harem ending, 100% of the time. If the harem ending doesn't include all the LIs, I will very likely drop the game as soon as I find out. I hate when developers do that.

Rarely. A game has to be really ticking my boxes to play it without a harem ending.
