How does everyone keep track of all the games you've played?

That's how. There's more than just this but I'm too lazy to take screesnhots of all of it.

I check the latest release daily. If I like the game and they have a discord I'll join if not just add my bookmark folder.

I also keep the saves around. I don't really rename folders or organize them though, besides ren'py vs "anything else".

And to be fair, there's also a couple of games I forgot I played and just redownloaded and even took a while before I realised I played it before.

That also happens to me, but usually only with games I played before I started archiving my saves or if the developer changed the name of the game.

i just use my folder of games. I'm not senile yet so i can usually remember what i am playing. i only have redownloaded games that were trash tier a couple of times. the games usually have all the right tags but kinda are lying about them. they have maybe one scene that's super vague just so they can add a tag.
after being burned one too many times i always try games h or non h before i spend my hard earned cash on them(looking at you ea).

Just keeping the latest updates tab pinned in the browser with a few choice tags excluded. Can just refresh once a day.

Yes, make reviews of them and always remember to save your favorite games in external hds. No one knows if they will be deleted from the internet

Mostly memory, but I try to keep at least one copy of a game if I really like it.

note pad document for games I've either fully played, or will never play again for whatever reason. Otherwise, game sits on my computer til I've fully played it/find a reason not to. List currently has 12 beaten, 1 never play.

Also mostly from memory, some I have bookmarked. Sometimes though I open a "new" game and find that apparently I already have savegames for it, probably means it wasnt very memorable then

gameupdatenotifier .I use this. Before this, it was a headache because i was tracking 100 vns .

For games where I'm still waiting for updates or that I haven't gotten around to playing, I just use browser bookmarks.
Games I'm done with I give a reaction on F-95 that reflects my experience.

Nothing fancy, but it's worked well enough so far.

I just rely on the old noggin and keep track of the ones I like
Works most of the time. Only once I've played a game where I realized halfway through that I allready played it.

I keep them in folders and also have excel file with collumns like : Name, status of game, Rating, Started it or not...

with that i can sort them to choose my next game to play.

I use a spreadsheet file containing data like the title of the game, game engine, development status (completed, ongoing, …), date of last update, where to get updates, date last played, and the game tags.

This is pretty much the same system I have. When you have over 2k games to keep track of you need some sort of system.

you guys are just too structured. I just dowload and hope for the best ;)
That is fine when only playing completed games, but with games still in development it's handy to know which version you last finished ;)
