How do you store and organize your games?

Whether its pc or mobile the humble folder is more than enough.

I leave them as compressed downloads until I am ready to play. That acts as my queue.

Then once I am ready to play one,. it gets unpacked into a Games folder and I clean up the folder name of each game to be the title and version. I delete any older versions once I confirm the latest version works.

I dont really bother much. I have a single folder for everything. Than inside that folder i have folders for flash games, qsp games, html games, games that are complete and games that i played but they are not complete. Thats it. When a year +1 month passes and game had not received updates i delete it, unless it is something very unique.

I separate JP VNs and Western VNs, the rest I just keep them in sequential folders depending on the rough time i downloaded them

I do no such thing. I download, play, delete - rinse and repeat. Honestly have lost access to plenty of games and even more save files due to this. It's also the main reason why I like RenPy games, being able to delete the game without having to worry about the save file.

Just download -> Extract -> Open to see if i like -> Play if i have time to spent and then Delete.
Some games that i know i'll play more i usually let in the folder, for the ones with no more content i just delete.

I grew tired of games disappearing because of some legal issues or something.
So now I download every game, or update I like, with its available walkthroughs, mods and extra's.
Then I compress that whole package into a rar archive and store it on a separate HD.
Much like the way its downloaded in the first place.
I make separate folders for developers I prefer, and the rest go in one large pile.
Newer versions get overwritten, unless older versions have content that's missing in newer versions.
In that case, I'll keep both versions. Complete versions get that label added to the title.
I've gathered a nice collection over time, but it's always sad to see so many abandoned potential gems lying around.
It's always fun to be able to unpack old games for another playthrough whenever I want.

Do you use a game manager? Add them as non steam games? Personally, I might download a bunch, and then forget which is what or what it looks like. I prefer to have tags and pictures instead of just folder names. I use Erioo Games Library from rori before it went down, but its a bit janky, so id like to see what solutions others have come up with.

I use the downloads folder . My games are in danger of premature disintegration at the behest of my memory. Primed to be deleted as soon as my tired sleep-deprived corpse feels the need to lose something, often needing me to re-download games and resulting in
dis as I forget the names of games I enjoyed all the time.

My NSFW folder is just a giant pile of archive, PDF, HTML files, game, video and mod folders, torrents etc. At most I label some folder "!IMPORTANT" or "!TODOTODOTODO" by adding the exclamation mark and then never actually touch it again until like 6 months later (if that).

I actually tend to not download that much because much of it is not worth playing or watching. I'm very picky in that regard. When do I download and play an NSFW game, I tend to rush it to completion or at least till where the content cuts off OR play for an hour or so and if I realize I don't like the story (YES, STORY AND WRITING MATTER, DAMMIT!) or the animation or something else, then I just SHIFT + DELETE it. So most of the stuff in my folders is something I actually like and thus have an easier time remembering what it was by just reading the folder's name. Worst case, I just launch the .exe file to refresh my memory on what that game actually was.

Normal games go to my Games folder. As for lewd games, I just drop them on my Desktop.
