I sleep in total darkness and silence. There was a time when I had trouble sleeping, so I tried white noise and ASMR. It helped for a while, but then it started to bother me, so I went back to sleeping in total silence lol

I use a sleeping mask, and I like to have a fan on as well.

Sleep Sleeping GIF by Ed Sheeran

I recently got an ereader and reading the horus heresy series every night for about an hour before sleeping is my routine. I even got a holder and small BT controller so i can flip the pages without holding the reader or taking my hands from under my blanket, I normally fall asleep reading halfway through a page and the autotimer of my ereader shuts the dim backlight off after about 5 mins. I live for comfort.

In darkness and silence, sometimes a podcast or someone telling a story on phone.

Mostly bad low quality sleeps, but I like the outside street light that gently filters through my window, so not totally dark, but some light and no noise is preferred.

Although. Do we vampires even ever truly sleep at night? Perhaps day time sleep would be better? hmmm?

If I'm alone, with at least one light on and my fan. If my partner is around, then complete darkness with my fan on. I do keep lights like the bathroom light on so I can get up and go to the bathroom, but thats about it.

In silence and in darkness, some light is tolerated. I need it to be fairly cool in the bedroom, preferably with an open window or even a crossbreeze in summer.
