How do you feel about AAA or similar core game content being pay walled?

Absolute bullshit! There will always be leaks and cracks. And thank God for that.

I strongly dislike the paywall for CORE game content if most of the game is already free. As for additional add-ons like different fetishes I can see it though.

If that's how they want their game to work, fair enough. If people are willing to pay for it, fair enough. Me personally, I would refuse to play the game though.

I greatly dislike paywalls that locks out big parts of the game, like Shale Hill Secrets.
I'm kinda ok with locking some q.o.l features, like in Seaside Mystery.

Think the best solution is just make a great game and release it a bit earlier for all supporters.

Paywalls are never good, no matter what game we are talking. Hiding major or less major contant behind a paywall which may contain some backround strings for the story is a big no, no.

Also for other game is a paywall which split playerbases just shit and helps to doom the game.

I paywall my games to my tiers first, then release them free afterwards.

It works best.

That kind of use of a paywall is completely accapable. ❤️

That is shit and just a money grab. If you made a game and made it donation based and then right at the end you hide the ending behind a pay wall then you are a cunt and need to burn in hell.

I don't mean any extras or side content. Just certain games that sometimes side scenes or endings behind a pay wall? I can understand Bonus content or cheats, but endings to a game not so much.

The question is what kind of wall, who benefits from it? Is it the original dev or the one hosting the games? Do they have permission to host the games?
The ending of a game behind a paywall, is terrible.
Another option I see, I mostly hate, is all those small games on mobile, that constantly ask you to give some money to buy a few gold or anything useful in a game, it should be possible to play a game without it, of course, getting additional skins, or make live in the game easier fine. It could be done with a pay-wall.
Extra content maybe. Some are offering a free version of the game, and a paid version with more content, everyone needs to eat I would say.

Forever paywall is crap and I just won't care about that devs game. only one kind of paywall that is kinda alright is a timed one.

I don't like it but Bioware has being doing that since Dragon age Origins.

On the one hand I like it when the makers of my porn can eat and pay rent, but on the other hand I have found very few pay-wall measures that don't entirely ruin the game experience for me.

Its most of the time a horrible idea since usually games that have paywall in them dont have enough content in the free version to get a good idea if paying for the full is worth it

Even worse is when bought versions have stuff behind an additional paywall...

Don't like it and won't play those games. There are enough other games out there.

I do understand the need to paywall stuff. People gotta make a living. But what I can't stand is when they paywall things that aren't theirs or are minimally modified, that's a scumbag. Or using minimal effort, like a lot of DAZ and Koikatsu model games, just pump and dumb gabbo

If you pay for the game, you should get all there is to have in the game, period. I'm fine with DLCs, but they also have to be things that would make sense to have as a DLC, which are always side content. Core content should always come with the game, if you pay for them. IF the game is free, then that is a different story, but there should also be limits in this case, lest you end up exploiting your player base.

I doubt anyone in their right mind likes it when part of what would otherwise be the full game is sold as dlc. But.
