No. I HATE minigames. Adding them is just being a twunt.

Only thing worse than a mini game... Quick Time Events. fucking kill me now.

(Although i DID like Dragon Slayer back in the 80s... the entire game was QTE. They started that ganster shit.)

What are quick time events? I was gaming (Commodore 64) in the 80s and don't remember that.

Gotta press (Triangle) with the perfect timing.

Common in the first God of War games during boss fights.

Fellow old guys should Remeber Simon:

Mini games are ok but for the most part I like games that are more on rails story. Many times the mini games become just a grind.

Not usually a fan of minigames but for some reason I liked Braveheart Academy's. Don't get me wrong, they were super annoying, but I think it made the payoff better. Like most things, it can probably be done well with good design.

Tend to avoid VNs that have mini games. All about the story/chars for me. I guess only exception was The Headmaster which had some simple puzzle stuff IIRC.

The kind of minigames in Badik I "hate".
The one in Fetish Locator SM Studio I find nice.

They could be fine in the paper because it changes a little bit the pace of the game but sadly they are used in a repetitive way and it is more an annoyance that involves usually a lot of grind.

mini games suck, they really don't add much to the story of the whole game. the only times they do help the story is if you have to pick a lock, crack a safe, or a chest.

Honestly in VNs not really experienced any. However in actual games a few RPGs have some great mini games.

Honestly, the first time I played Summertime Saga and got to a minigame I was super impressed. Made it feel more like a 'real video game.' Nowadays though I'm not as worried about whether I'm playing a 'real video game' or not and mini games usually just represent dev time that could be better spent on something else to me.
