Hello fellow players, are you more of the concentrated readers who want to understand the story? Is that important to you or do you always skip to the "exciting" parts without understanding the context?
( i use Google Translator =D )

For me, plot and convincingly written characters always come first. So I read everything very carefully. If the plot is weak (this happens in 80-85% of cases) I delete the VN or the game without the slightest regret.

For example, I deleted “23 Sisters” 30-40 minutes after I started to get acquainted with this project. Sex is just a spicy addition to the story. If I want porn, I download regular porn videos.

depends, is it interesting to me? if yes, i will endure having to read all the dialog. if not, then i just there to get the material.

Depends on scenario. Some writers (especially japanese VN writers) like to write tons of text, describing every little thing and constantly repeating yourself. They works takes a lot of time and power, just to keep reading. If after an hour of reading, story stays in the same place as at the beginning, then I start hard skip racing.

Everything should stay within reasonable limits :)

I normally read through those stories I wish to continue with. There are some that I think might not appeal, so I skip through a bit, to see where the story line is going

On the first playthrough I read the interesting story parts and read across the babble. On supsequent playthroughs I skip through the parts I still remember clearly.

Sometimes skip, sometimes read.. suppose it's 50/50 on what I'm playing.

If I like the story I will read everything but sometimes I do still skip if I like cus so much reading needa see some🥵

If the story can draw me in then I will always read it after all if I just want porn there are plenty of real options for that. I want a captivating story with porn and of course options for kinks. If it doesn't draw me in or is boring I will skip to the juicy bits to see the quality of the visual aspect of it but not likely to continue to follow it.

I have to like (or hate, in certain circumstances) the characters to enjoy the scenes. Also, a lot of my favorite kinks are contextual and exist within the story itself. Corruption, for example. Skipping straight to the scenes would kind of defeat the point, I think. Lastly, if I want to just consume lewd animation, there are entire sites devoted to that exact thing. So why go through the trouble of launching a game when a Google search will do?

For me the pictures aren't worth much without the context of the story. If all I wanted was the imagery I could look that up in my browser without downloading a 3gb game. So I'm usually going to read everything I haven't already read, and if I find myself skipping a lot of text it probably means the game itself isn't holding my interest.

I'll read it if its very good or awful (the best kind of comedy)
skip it if its boring

Always read the full story unless they get bogged down with long conversations that barely move the story. If I didn't care about the stories I'd just head over to that Hub site.

if the Story got me, them i will fullly read everything but if only want the art just skip

If it interesting series what known for its plot or its necessary in walkthrough of course, but if a game is corridor gallery, why not skipping it?

I am big on IMMERSION! If media doesnt grab me and hold my attention, I am unintested. If I find myself wanting to skip, I kind of have my answer: the game isnt gripping and not worth my time.

I hate anything that pulls me OUT! So, devs who break the "fourth wall" (for lack of a better term, as these arent single camera sit coms.) or talk to the audience too much are annoying to me.

There is one dev that you all here seem to love and I just cant get into his stuff, because he is contantly talking to us, the audience. Shut the fuckup and let your story speak for itself!

Slight tanget, but part of the overall theme.

if i wanna play the game i will read it, but if i want to jerk i skip through

A good story makes the jerk better, a bad story just makes the jerk quicker as long as the renders are still good. Turns it into a gallery instead of a story

I read till I get board then I skip

It depends on the game. If the dialogue is well written and progresses the story then I will hang on every word. If I get a whiff of unnecessary amounts of filler that doesn't feel relevant then I lose interest and just want to see the goods.
