Yes, as others have said, you really develop a desire to help the characters in this game because of how well-developed they are. I’ve decided not to take the dark path in this playthrough, which is unusual for me in games like this.

Story wise, I think this is one of the best games. One thing I like about it is that the MC isn't perfect and at times pays for his actions with injuries that don't just go away, for example, hes had a black eye for a while now

I sort of wish more games focused on stories like the first one. Where you have a situation where there's a girl that is in a bad situation, is offered a way out, still chooses to stay in the bad situation, so you just decide to say, "Fuck it" and use them/punish them. Maybe that's just me getting out my bitterness lmao

I quite like most of the “stories”, just hoping some of the routes blossom into domination style routes. As for the valentines thing, it was fine, I like this game mainly for the characters not the plot (not that the plot is bad, I just prefer the characters and their personalities and interactions with the mc over it).

vanilla version is not as dark as other version. you can do really fucked up shit in the other one so if you arent anjoying using others i think vanilla would be best for you?

This is one thread that f95 has better since they have neonghosts active there and he shares a lot of wallpapers and his thoughts on stuff. Personally one of my favorite devs.
