Blindly removing the word 'step' is not a patch. You would have to REWRITE THE STORY so that being blood related made sense. Its braindead senseless with the current story.

the entire POINT is that it shouldnt be done at all. this is not a landlady trope shit job where the dev was trying to write an incest story without it being actual incest. the story IS MEANT to be exactly as it is and changing the relationships is braindead senseless as it breaks the story without doing a complete rewrite. a universal patch is stupid to use as its not patching something that needs fixed and is making things worse
