That is the way every Platform like Patreon, SubscribeStar or similar will go if they reach a critical mass of success. Of course that's ass, but thats how shit works in Capitalism, it's all about the Money, not the Morals.

Patreon is a private company (no investors) with no advertisers either that I know of (all the $75M a year they make is from the 8% cut from everyone on it). If they relied on Adsense and similar Google wouldn't allow porn of any sort at all and prob their other advertisers wouldn't either, and if they planned an IPO all porn would prob be kicked off it too (might as well at this point, they mostly ruined AVNs to where they are not worth subbing to anyway). It's why you only see porn sites advertised by other porn sites even when they'd normally be competitors. Only reason they cleaned up their act is because Visa/MC told them to and they kissed their asses complete with a rimjob and a reach-around, plain and simple. What they should have done was simply tell Visa/MC to go fuck themselves and then set up a few shell companies to launder their money for them the way Backpage did (through their shell companies BP could take people's CC's again, with Visa/MC none the wiser, only when the gov't got involved did they shut down with a new anti-online-prostitution law specifically meant for them), but they did it the lazy spineless way and simply bent a knee. Hopefully (and probably) Unifans did similar when they set up their company so no need to "retrofit" it if that happened again. Personally these days I use crypto whenever possible, Unifans included, then Visa/MC has no say or power over who or what gets to exist.
