Well, it's your loss. If you are just looking for a pure porn game, this is not a good choice anyway. However, Eternum is probably the top adult visual novel that people play specifically for its plot. (It's primarily a science fiction / fantasy plot, although the main character can accumulate girlfriends on the way.) Explicit scenes are quite rare and always serve the story, not the other way round. (Some are also extremely funny.) There is a reason people keep mentioning Eternum everywhere. Like its completed predecessor Once in a Lifetime, Eternum is every bit as good as a published traditional novel or a published traditional movie.
If the problem is that the models aren't unique, just think of them as actors and actresses. We don't mind seeing the same faces again and again in different movies. I am not sure why some people consider it a crime when a developer 'hires' the most popular performers for their visual novel.

PS: Stabby Mike from Once in a Lifetime is hilarious and probably one of the most quoted characters in the AVN scene. And similarly, I have seen quite a few references to the alternate reality game Eternum (the one that gives the AVN Eternum its name) in unrelated high quality AVNs.

That's my favorite VN so far, happy to see an update here.

And yes the balance between plot and lewd scenes excludes it from porn games, but the scenes are better than all those games with poorly animated content or outdated/misused engines.

Not here yet, but yesterday the obvious other site to look for this actually got two. It's currently not linked from the game's main page there, but you can find the links on discussion page 1942.
More precisely, that post has lightly compressed (2.3 GB) and heavily compressed (1.6 GB) options for Win/Linux and Mac as well as a universal update from version 0.8 to 0.8.4. That update is tiny (9 MB) because compared to the previous release 0.8, update 0.8.4 has only text and programming changes but no new content.

I don't know if I've waxed poetic about this game on its page, but I fucking love this game
It's got me hooked; story, characters, animation (not even the lewd anims)
I cannot wait for more of this story, it's like ready player one meets every asset honey select fucking has for all sorts of fun themes and scenarios.
I won't spout spoilers but this has some great twists so far that are rather believable. This feels very anime, but in a good way.

You're missing out man. A game of this scale would take such a long time to make for what I assume is a single person working on it if it was made in Daz.
VAM? Maybe that could work.. but that is definitely a pain in the ass to work with because of the interface.

It's one of top favorites. I would class it in S-tier.
It have all the aspects top-notch.
Graphics are great, Concept is inspired but still great, Characters show humor along with seriousness, and there's diversity in personality. So, overall it's one of the best games made on Ren'Py.
