Does it hard to find the one game you truely love?

nope, i love a lot of games but most of them died before it become completed

"曾經滄海難為水,除卻巫山不是雲。"
It's mean..
When you see more and more objects, your understanding of them becomes deeper and your taste becomes higher and higher, making it harder for you to find objects that satisfy you.
I don't want to be higher, I just want to see something different. I play many games only to find they are the same eventually

Yeah, it's complicated. I'll get 5-6 games like that a year, no more.

Sometimes you gotta go digging in junk to find that gem, great story wonderful art and a hope one day it will be complete

Yes. Very hard. I guess it is because I like a good story instead of a maximum of lewd content.

1. Reading the announcement. If you are interested and it is not version 0.001 of 50 Mb, you can download it.
2 Unpack it, run it. If within half an hour what is happening on the display did not cause any response in your soul - mercilessly delete.
3. Repeat point 1.
According to the theory of probability, sooner or later will meet something worthy.
Although we must point out. Sometimes not badly started projects begin to degrade (in my opinion) and eventually lose my interest. And also sent to the trash can. And these are well-known and popular projects - Summertime Saga, Taffy Tales, Love & Sex Second Base, Reunion (by Karabinek).
But even taking into account possible subsequent rejection, you can find something interesting for you personally by trial and error. I have time to familiarize myself with 3-4 projects a month, no more than that. And at the end of the year I save only 5-6 games and VN. So a good project is a rarity.
Excellent
I'm often surprised by the quality of games I review without any particular hope.
Otherwise, don't hesitate to quickly stop and delete when you're not enjoying a game rather than waste time.

For me, it's not. You'll find it through trial and error if you know what you're looking for. Also, during the search, you might find mini treasures. I think the real problem is keeping the game interesting once you start 'understanding' it.
