discussion Do you use your real name when playing games?

[Hummel2]

No, I use a different name.

[Mecha-chu]

I either pick the default name if I have such an option, or else I use the name Joe for all games. Was the first name that came to mind when I was first propted to type out a name for a porn game and it's been stuck ever since.

i have anickname i always use, and use Ret if i really dont like the mc and im not self inserting, just there to see the gallery.

I usually have a few names I use, depending on if the playable character is a woman or a man. Tried using my own name and shortens of it too, but it sometimes feels a bit too creepy to me

[Succubussy]

Depends on a character having a "canon" name like a pretyped name. If you have to add your own name i tend to just use my name. Good thing that Robin is gender neutral in some parts

Since almost all games are male protagonist it'd shatter the illusion if i gave the mc my name. I sometimes use my name for the LI when its a game I really like.
