It has came to our attention that there is a new Possible SPOOF Download site that emulates Pixeldrian. That site is "pixeldrain.fileo.me" It very much looks like the real Pixeldrain download site but there are a couple of subtle differences that are tail tail signs ( other than the URL Name) "pixeldrain.com" The Icon on the real Pixeldrain will show the well known easily identifiable Circle/Wheel.

The Spoof site icon will show as a Globe

There is another tale on the actual site itself that is subtle but telling that is easily over looked. The site name and top bar is missing from the spoof site.

The real site looks like this. The site name is in a top bar with the file name in it.

The spoof site has a somewhat shady Trust score as shown. This site is reported to have only just in the past few weeks being formed and brought online. It may be a real ALT for the well known PIXELDRAIN Site, but that hasn't been verified as of this date. Use caution if using this site.

Also you can add links that are from this site also: "gofile.fileo.me" as well as from:

Thanks for the heads-up, captain. That raises a question, though: when a developer or uploader posts a link, do they choose to use Pixeldrain, or is it more or less random? In this case, would it be the uploader themselves who decided to put it on that fake site?

well this is concerning, glad i got to see this post before anything bad could have happened :(

I think usually the uploader chooses the file hosts and uploads it themselves, but they could also be using links from already uploaded files. On LC the uploader must provide at least 3 from different hosts.

You can never be too careful especially when your brain is in goon mode and you can't wait to download that game.

The main take away here is to know your file storage location URL, and always be mindful (Aware) of where the link that you clicked on takes you. Ie:

Pixeldrain is "pixeldrain.com" --------> NOT "pixeldrain.fileo.me"
Gofile is "gofile.io" -------------------> Not "gofile.fileo.me"

Mega is "mega.nz" ------------------> Not "mega.fieleo.me" Or some other form of the URL...

The above examples were found on the Lewd Games site. Which was at one time a good alternate location to find your favorite game.
