Except the difficulty of the free roams is way over the top extreme, especially later when it requires all sorts of weird stuff. Impossible even with a walkthrough, and you really should be able to advance without one.

I agree with earlier posts that currently Subverse is the closest game we have to AAA games. But for now we have to turn to the modding community to mod Skyrim, Fallout 4 and The Sims. There is always a reason for the firsts mods to a game is nude mods, right now I get the feeling that we are just waiting for a new game with good modding compatibility to make a psudo-AAA porn game out of it.

I'd wager there will be Bladerunner-esque AI girlfriends before there was a true AAA porn game. The sex industry has always existed at the edges of society. But with AI girlfriends people can claim they are assistants or companions. Then, when behind closed doors people can level up their "social" skills, all while appearing respectable.

The reproduction rate will nosedive but, fuck it that's the next generations problem.

If VR becomes more accessible/mainstream I don't see a world where there is no sex simulator, it sounds like printing money.
Only way they don't make this is if legislation in major markets makes it illegal.

yeah the finance aspect is always going to be the problem, the payment processors won't let a AAA porn game exist even if people wanted to make it

I doubt any AAA studio will ever do porn games. But I think porn in video games has still come a loooong way since "Custer's Revenge" on the Atari.

I can't see it. The amount of money spent on AAA games requires a certain ROI to be successful and even considered. I think some are getting close though.

Exactly my thoughts. Porn has pushed technology before with VHS/DVDs and such. VR technology will lead to big budget porn games in the future
