I don't take the game itself seriously; it's entertainment, and if you see it as an occasional escape, that's fine. But if it's something very serious in your life, frankly, it's worrying. Try to get help, bro. It's not worth wasting your life like that. Sure, sometimes it's difficult, but it's always worth trying.

I don't really understand that question to be honest, is that more of an philosophical question? Or do you mean if we see porn games at the same level of normal videogames? If second, I definitely say no and that's good, back then games weren't taken seriously too, now since games are taken serious and are mainstream we just get pre-baked early access titles that will fulfill a investors quota. Porn games are mostly a work of love, it's a hand full of people dedicated to make something they'd like to play them aswell

I mean, it is art in my opinion. It by no means needs to be art you value highly or even respect but I do think it's undeniably art. In that way I guess I take it seriously. As I see it, even if its just porn its something made by people for others to experience. Sex is just another part of life and it would be foolish to think that humans would not, or have never, made art surrounding the topic. As for the content of a game? Most of the time its pretty trash lmao

If the devs make a game in a serious way ima take it seriously. If the devs are clowning around I give more leeway. Worst games are the ones where the intention and the impact don't line up, if a game wants me to take it seriously but it's got nothing to take serious I'm gonna complain

I do, heck I've played some only for the story when the character models didn't do it for me (of course i do have my limits) i even left one game I financially supported for idk how long after they without warning change character designs because the new artist "likes them bigger". Problem is, they didn't adjust the character design, just enlarge breasts. Some had it ok some was mostly missed by it then one went from "i can see this being realistic if the show was nore adult" to tits as big as her body...no joke...i was seriously upset over it, i even asked to get my name removed from the patreon thanks. Got no response and i haven't looked back since. Makes me angry too because the money i spent and it being the only good game on the ip. I bet the big spenders either was yes men and/or have sunk cost fallacy (minus people who are bigger tits=better even if it looks off or ridiculous.

But also knowing the art can change on a whim makes me hope they do it more often. The rare bitter side of me hope the game and the other ones fail. Completely ridiculous you stick to a design for years. The designs was darn near perfect and on model looking. Wish i never supported or even knew of the game.
