discussion Do you prefer the MC to be male, female, or don't really care?

When there's an option to chose (hetero male or lesbian female) I always go for male because I like sex being the having a penis type.
But if the game is female MC only, I don't mind. I usually prefer male MC for the variety on girls, and most female MC are kinda slow burn, so I'm a little biased, but I'd play either way.

I don't really care if the MC is male or female, as long as the story and character development is well written I'll play either.

I have an easier time getting into the male headspace, and I can have more fantasies fulfilled that way. For female MC's I'd prefer that they are bi/lesbian

In adult games I prefer male MC, since it feels more immersive. In regular games, if I have the option to choose the gender and there are not any differences in the content, I go with a female MC, since I prefer looking at her butt while running around.

I do prefer Male MC for immersion. I don't remember a good game with female MC... Maybe there are not that much... Or maybe I haven't even try them.

Either a pure lesbian female or a non-ntr harem smale...sadly the lesbian harem combi is too rare to pick, otherwise i would never play any male charas.

The title really says it all. Personally I do care. So far, I have never looked at a VN that has a female MC. I'm not necessarily being sexist, I just find it difficult to relate to a story where the MC is anything other than male. More to the point, though: how do you feel about the sex of your MC ?

When I play a female MC game I think of it more like watching porn than thinking about "me" as the MC. I relate to it more as porn than a personal fantasy.
