discussion Do you prefer playing a VN with a Walkthrough Mod. Why/why not?

Do I prefer going in blind. Yes.

But so often got stuck because because some hidden or unclear requirement to progress. Or a game just grinds without progressing. Is it end of content or am I missing something? Happens so often. So often do use guides. Wish more games had hints, or something, or better showed when the was a wall or whatever.

i'll go in checking the walkthroughs just because I want to know if there's anything that I can end up missing. If not, then from there i'll play it without the walkthrough. So I guess, half walkthrough.

I'll use the guide just not to miss anything, but in general I don't like games that almost require players to use guides just to progress

it definitely depends.

on games like BADik, i don't bother. i play how i want to play as the lewds are nice, but the story is what makes them "hit different"

compared to a game with taboo or raunchy lewds where i want to see each one because the story isn't as strong as the renders
