Meaningful choices. With the way games get released, the thing that annoys me the most are choices that look like they are going to matter, but the game ends up in the same place no matter what you do.
Choices are ok as long as it's clear what the consequences are to that choice.
Many of the games have way too many all of a sudden, it's like the dev suddenly figured out how to make the code and then pepper them everywhere to hone skills or something.
