Do you prefer a faceless protagonist in your games?

For me it depends, there are games that I like just to imagine that I'm living someone elses life but there are games that I prefer in first person to imagine myself in

nope, I don't play games trying to make MC be like me or pretending he is, rather I pretend I'm him, I won't feel in the slighest related to the Yatch owner that works for the mafia
this question could be bound to the otherone asking if we bring fetishes to irl, I guess some people feel more connected to their games or porn

I fine with both but I usually prefer faceless as male protagonist, cause I usually don't look at male MC faces.

I personally like games where the MC's face is hidden and this is because it allows you to better immerse yourself in the game and get used to the character, rather than participating as an observer directing the development of the plot.

It depends, it can be faceless, unless the main character is a woman, then I prefer her to have face

Honestly as long as the MC's face doesn't make me want to punch it and is done well I don't mind it at all. I also don't mind faceless MC's either though, really anything as long as the MC doesn't distract from the story as most male faces in DAZ etc are effing terrible.
I second this. I have no problem to perform another character, and i have no problem with faceless. Faceless is still another character since i prbably wouldn't do/say the same anyway.

But if it's a faceles, it has to be nicely done. I don't want a faceless head constantly on my screen, because that's an MC face that makes me want to punch it. Very disturbing. So it needs nice cameras angles, clever staging, and we're all good. I ever played a game where it was a faceless MC and i didn't even noticed before looong minutes. I appreciated the effort.

Doesn't really matter. As long as it's no old geezer, I'm usually fine.

Not really. As long as the MC doesn't look hideous or like some goonish bro, it's fine if he has a face we see. I find it annoying when games bend themselves in knots to avoid showing the MC's face. It's just silly.

1st person perspective, yes. But the faceless look doesn't work for me. It looks too weird and always throws me off

Think it really depends on the game, faceless lets me self-insert but sometimes I just want to be a spectator.

I don't have a particular preference. The main thing is that the faceless ms looks normal, and not some kind of bag on the head.
