Does it matter if MC is faceless or not for people that self-insert themself?

It doesn`t matter to me. But if you let me choose in a koikatsu game, I will choose faceless, because I really don`t like the male faces those games usually have.
Yeah make faces in Koikatsu are usually mediocre, they're honestly a pain to deal with so I sometimes just go for female faces and do a bit of customization.

It’s not something that’ll bother me if the MC has a face, but I prefer without so I can imagine myself there.

It doesn't bother me much unless there's something unusual going on with the MC, but if given the option I'd choose to create my own character at least a little

I don't care unless he looks very ugly or stands out a lot.

Doesn't make a difference to me, I have enjoyed games both ways.

I have seen a lot of discussion about people that self-insert themself to the MC and was wondering about this.

If you like to do it, do you prefer the character to be faceless, (aka you never see the MC:s face) or not?

For me it doesn't matter that much, as long as character design looks good.
That doesn't ruin the immersion for me, with being Black the majority of MC's player models doesn't look like me. The thing that I lose immersion on is the dialogue.

If it's something that I wouldn't say or if I haven't been placed in a specific scenario I will prolly skip the dialogue of the game and watch the live action and start making up my own scenario

:ROFLMAO:

it would be nice like customizable face for male mc, but still the faceless mc is the most common in the VN's game and 3d games but it doesn't affect the storyline. big dick and faceless= good shit

Yeah, doesn't really matter one way or another for me too -- Tho, it's just more "me"/"mine" if I'm able to customize it. Kinda like a username/IGN

Is nice but it isn't a must have

One of the best games where the main character's face wasn't shown was Acting Lessons imho. I still remember laughing at that moment

I don't mind the MC having a distinct face or look, as long as it's not too detracting

For me it depends on the context of the game. If the story is supposed to be me then do not make me look like something. If the story is not me and is a character then is fine.

i never really notice the MC's face, so for me it can go either way, what i don't like is being an ugly bastart
