Do you prefer a faceless protagonist in your games?

For me I prefer for the protag to be faceless(face is obscured or the game is in first person perspective the majority of the game) because I like to self-insert when playing. And seeing a face that doesn't resemble mine breaks the illusion.
faceless is good but i don't mind a face now and then. as long it makes sense to me.

Presumably the author has a character in mind. Go ahead and show the face the author intended. The VN will let me steer the character via choices, but it's still the author's creation.

I find faceless MC games funny. I'm like "oh look at that weird plant", or "my that's a coveniantly placed lamp". The immersion breaking inserts of random things and funny angles make things interesting. Whilst simultaneously defeating their own purpose. Since being faceless is supposed to add to immersion. Full first person is similar with its weird kissing images, but at least it’s not as self-defeating.

Prefer to play when the protagonist has a face, as long as he doesn't look like an orc when he's actually a human

No, I prefer with a face, have hair and not be ugly

I'd rather have a faceless MC than one that is unappealing.

Only when that facelessness has one unique trait to it that other faceless people don't have.

All methods that devs have tried to keep MC's face hidden end up hurting the game more than they help with self-inserting.

Give me an MC with a visible face, and make it at least somewhat pleasant to look at.

Huh, my pfp is kinda relevant here.
I prefer a face, it helps give the mc more character. Also helps in sex scenes, because some games try too hard to remain "faceless".
Also, I like to give characters certain voices in my head, and a face really helps with that.

I prefer if the protagonist has a face manly for the sex scenes. Whenever the game creator goes too hard in keeping the protagonist faceless, they tend to create weird angles or add obtrusive objects in still images or during animations to keep the protagonist faceless.

Many Japanese game male protagonists have no faces. I quite like this
Manga/anime blankface is probably the least intrusive way I suppose.

As long as the body is visible I dont mind either way. What I dislike is when they make the whole character an outline like in lab rats 2

Dont care about faceless MC but i do care if its only POV animations

Faceless? No. Would look like shit if some faceless protagonist eats a pussy.
Dickless? YES! Dicks ruin every sex scene.

I don't mind faceless. But limiting to first person sometimes can be weird depending on how the game is made.

I'm kind of the opposite.

I hate faceless with a passion.

Doubly so when it's stupid obvious the lengths the devs go to, to hide the face:
-Thumb / Ripped part on a photograph.
-Mirror has something clipped on it in THE exact spot.
-Grad photo is smudged.
-Other characters look like contortionists to move their body in such a way that the face is hidden.
-Hat droops down FAR further than any hat can.
-Every NPC somehow slaps / holds / pushes the MC's face in every scene.
-etc...

I don't want a better way of doing it, I want it gone. I don't care if the MC is the wrong gender / race / etc...

The above list is what ruins my immersion much more than a wrong face. I look NOTHING like Han Solo, yet I relate to him the most in Star Wars.
