discussion Do you prefer 2D or 3D games?

I think a good 2D artstyle can blow a 3D model out of the water any day of the week -- unfortunately, it's a lot less common to find a good 2D game than it is to find a decent 3D game.

i go with 2d, some 3d are good but most of them are nigthmare material

many 2D games i have played outside of the typical mass-produce-template stuff you see coming out of the country japan....... i am sure you know what i mean ............ are many often times much higher quality in both story and art....... maybe it is personal preference but i feel much more passion coming from such a medium

It doesn't matter (unless it's about Japanese graphics, I'm allergic to them). The main thing is a good gameplay/ fascinating plot, the graphic solution is secondary.

Its ALL about the Fidelity of the art, Ive seen some terrible honey select style 3d art that just isnt appealing, and some amazing 2d art that just wows me, so moral of the story make the art unique, and most importantly HOT!!!

There's way more 3dcg that I enjoy

I think 3D could be good, but I rarely see it implemented well. Therefore, I will choose 2D.

I prefer 2D with good artistic design and, on rare occasions, 3D, but I rarely see it used well.
