Depends on how good the story is. But to be honest, if the story doesn't hook me I tend to just drop it. I've gotten to a point where sometimes, if the story has hooked me or I really like the characters and I'm invested in them, then scenes can then interupt the story for me and I kinda just speed through them.

Definitely story for me, a story that pulls me in, gives the characters depth and personality, wins for me everytime.
Not that I don't like the sex scenes of cause, especially if it's one I've been looking forward to. But sometimes I find myself clicking through the sex scenes.

Sometime I started for porn but than game catch me and I switch for story.

Scientists to this day haven't figured out why one would play porn games if not for the porn.
There's barely any with a "good" story anyways, and even then a good story requires focus, which means the focus is not on the porn. Which doesn't make sense in a porn game.

Mainly for the plot, but sex scenes can spice things up in a fun way. On the other hand, without a good plot, adult scenes alone mean nothing.

depends on the mood tbh, sometimes i just sit for 8 hours and play peak gaming for story (Now and Then or Leap of Faith for example) and other times its just a jork session and i stop after a nut and continue the game at a later time

For the porn primarily. Plot helps but thats what books are for. Porn and spicy writing and situations are primarily why I play AVNs. With that said one thing I often notice that is missed in these threads is a discussion on character agency. Games where the user/main character has a high amount of agency in a given situation are what ring my bell.

With that said there is a place for really well written/illustrated kinetic novels as well (Looking at you Sinful Summer and Measuring my Cum).

I love a good drama with lots of nudity ... so a big fan of vn ... this has kinda ruined regular porn for me. Also kinda feel real porn can be exploitative. CGI is straight from the mind and imagination of the creator.

For story. I try to avoid porn now, because it was toxic and lacked emotions. It's been healthy for me. I am still a disgusting perverted monster, but less than I was.
