discussion Do you play AI-made games?

What i dislike about them is the lack of effort and greed. Some AI art games have one advantage in not needing an artist but even so they are often more barren in art than most hand drawn games, worse yet they also lack in mechanics, writing and some are even paywalled. Besides that i treat them like a koikatu-art game, needs to make up somewhere else to be considered good

Currently, no. BUT! It has potential. I think it's hard to get consistent images and videos, but once that's done, I think you'll see a lot more games with a lot more specific fetishes - at that point a dev's storytelling ability will be what makes a game shine

I've read comments saying that people generally don't like AI games, even if it's only for the visuals, since there's also a possibility that the narrative is involved. Would you give games like this a chance (by paying for them) even if there’s a commitment to render everything?

if it is a good one, i don't care and i might not even know.
i don't play all the half-assed crap out there that is built using AI on a sunday afternoon

you can use AI and still create good stuff

They are valid, the problem is when some genres become trend, like smartphone ntr games, I just don't understand why

If the game deserves attention (there is good gameplay, a good plot), then why not play. I'm not allergic to AI.

Most ai art in hames is not appealing the characters proportion changes with every image.

Every AI artwork I've seen gives me MASSIVE uncanny valley vibes so I kind of just avoid it in general whether that be a game or whatever else. Not saying they are bad, they just arent for me.
