AI used sparingly can help with development and I may give the game a chance. If it's straight up slop, then no.

I've tried a few but the inconsistencies in the art are too jarring. Can't get invested if the character I like looks different in every scene.

Only up to a degree. If even the plot is fully created by AI, at least for now, you can still feel it.
But if it's only art I can tolerate it
