Personally if I see a game that says it has a female MC or even 'multiple protagonists', I leave it alone and don't touch it, sticking to 'male protagonist' centred games.

Or maybe you're a female yourself and want the character to reflect your gender?

Personally it depends on the game, if it's a F MC with M Chars, I won't touch it. But if it's a F MC and F Char, and it is a good game, then I'll give it a go

Same here. Not sure why a straight male would want to roleplay as a female, especially if it involved getting railed by another guy.

I do both. Like novels, it´s more about the premise and the story than the gender.

Most of what I play are male MC but one of my favorites is Project Myriam with a female MC. As long as the story is good I don't seem to mind either way.

No, I don’t only play games with male protagonists! There are plenty of games with diverse protagonists, including female MCs and non-binary characters. I can engage with any game that has an interesting narrative or characters, regardless of the main character’s gender.

Not at all - theres a lot to enjoy from that side/perspective. Mostly corruption-focused, of course, but thats still very entertaining.
